Technical Description: The SF900 is a PTO-driven attachment with Cat II and III three-point linkage. It can be mounted on a range of machines with the appropriate power rating and linkage configurations. The SF900 excels by its robust, solid and compact design and its large operating range. The SF900 stump grinder is operated by cable remote control. The grinding wheel is driven by a drive shaft, gearbox and power belts on both sides of the unit and is equipped with eight wearing plates and eight chisel tools, all of which are carbide-tipped. This combination allows lateral grinding as well as a radial cut of the stump. All tools are easy to replace and long lasting compared to other grinder tools.

The unit incorporates a powerful and reliable Bosch Rexroth hydraulic motor and ready-to-mount hydraulic lines. Valve specification and pulley configuration can be tailored to suit many skid steer models and special carriers. A choice of grinding rotors are available, tipped with carbide hammers or sharp tools, each individually exchangeable. A push-bar enables the M450 SS to grind standing trees. For safety considerations, the skid steer operator station should be equipped with a suitable forestry protection package.
