Pure cultures of a strain of Brachionus plicatilis (L-type) rotifers with a typical lorica length of about 160 µm. This species is euryhaline, capable of thriving in salinities of 5-40 ppt. Available in quantities from 1 million to 1.5 billion, concentrated and packaged into “breathable” bags. Our rotifer cultures are enriched with premium quality microalgae such as Phyto-Feast or RGcomplete.

RGcomplete is a highly-concentrated microalgal-based premium quality feed and enrichment for rotifers and many other filter-feeding invertebrates. It has been sized especially for Breeders, Aquarists, and Propagators and includes both a pH buffer and ClorAm-X® (ammonia neutralizer). It has a long refrigerated shelf life of at least 6 months.

FishGun Accessories – Diet-Tube 75 ml. We provide 75 ml conical tubes as a detached product from the FishGun D2. They are used as a container to store and distribute dry feed for aquatic research models.

We provide 50 ml conical Falcon tubes as a detached product from the Fishgun D1. They are used as a container to store and distribute dry feed for aquatic research models. The Falcon tubes that we market have a 2.8 mm diameter dispensing hole allowing high precision in feeding with particle sizes from 300 to 600 µm. When using the Fishgun D1, we recommend not sealing the Falcon tube cap completely, and to check the presence of a desiccant bag inside to reduce the humidity level. We recommend changing the falcon tube approximately every 2 months (for daily use of the Fishgun D1) to ensure the high level of accuracy in feeding.

New zooplankton reactor from Pacific Sun. This culture tank makes possible to cultivate both rotifers (Brachionus plicatilis) and larger zooplankton strains such as the large Daphnia (Daphnia magna). With its volume of 18.7 liters, this reactor allows you to grow large quantities of zooplankton to feed your fish. The base of the culture column is flared in cone ended by a pipe and a valve to evacuate all the deposits and waste from the culture (molts, algae clumps). The reactor is also provided with 3 entries inserted into the lid to allow nutrients (micro-algae), air (bubbling) and culture medium for renewal.
