Poelsan compression fittings should be kept away from hard or sharp objects during storage or installation phases. If the installation will be under the ground, it should be covered with sand in order to keep away from contact with hard and sharp objects. Damaged fittings shouldn’t be used strictly.

For a proper offtake with the Grommet Gasket, the pipe should be punched 16 mm or 20 mm according to the Mini Valve with Grommet Gasket to be used. The items with offtake end without gasket are used for joining the Layflat and Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Pipes (Flat Drip Irrigation Pipe) with Round Drip Irrigation Pipes (Ø16 mm & Ø20 mm). For a proper offtake, the pipe should be punched 8 mm. The Mini Valve Offtake without gasket item is used for the connection offtake from Layflat pipes to 12 mm Microtube Pipes with Ø12 mm Microtube Pipes. For a proper offtake, the pipe should be punched 8 mm.
