Starting out as a supplier of shellfish processing equipment, concerned with automation and labour reductions to ensure added value for our clients, we have a celebrated history of successful development projects, and this has left a legacy of unique machines, patents and expertise across a number of industries. Today, normal workflow includes a high percentage of bespoke projects, from the invention of new process machines to simple adaption of existing ones, all of which require flexibility and imaginative thought from our responsive in-house team of skilled designers, managers and manufacturers.

Our dedicated spares and service team manage an extensive stock of Polar Systems specific and general/common spare parts (found on both our machines and others). Because of the ‘in-house’ production capabilities of Polar Systems, we are also able to rapidly fabricate parts for our own machines and those of others (with the use of scanning technology) quickly and economically. Our spares team is able to trace and ship parts worldwide, ensuring fast delivery and minimum downtime. The spares team can also co-ordinate the receipt, storage and forwarding of parts including our own all over the world. This includes organising consignments and documentation, transportation and supervising or loading/lashing.
