Polysolar supplied and installed the world`s first solar PV greenhouse for a long standing customer in Cambridge. The build was provided alongside our partners at Cambridge Glasshouse. Polysolar and our partners Cambridge Glasshouse designed a seamless turnkey solution for people who could not install solar on the roofs of their houses due to planning constraints. This solution offers all people a great way to avoid planning, harvest electricity and grow plants and vegetables all in one project.

The custom built cedar greenhouse had been designed to accept 12 of Polysolar`s 90 W transparent modules. Polysolar supplied the panels and all electrical balance of system.

Polysolar supplied the panels and mounting system for a customer selected contract builder. The project is a multi-use outbuilding with storage at the rear and a efficient growing space at the front.
