Pond Biologics PBAB Aquaculture Blend is a specially formulated mix of beneficial microorganisms designed for intensive aquaculture systems. These microorganisms play a vital role in enhancing the natural nutrient recycling process by augmenting beneficial bacteria, which accelerates the breakdown and reduction of organic matter. This, in turn, leads to improved water quality, benefiting all aquatic organisms within the aquaculture system. The product is applied at varied dosages depending on the setting: for ponds, it requires 50 to 100 grams per surface acre weekly, for tanks, 10 grams per 250 gallons of water weekly, and for raceways, 2 to 5 grams per 250 gallons of water daily. It comes in a 1 Kilogram (2.2 lbs) container, with each gram containing 1.6 billion CFU (Colony Forming Units) and has a shelf life of 2 years.
