Our Aviary Rearing Systems are specifically designed for the rearing of commercial layers for aviary laying production systems. The systems have been designed for the even rearing of pullets and the easy working environment of the poultry farmer.

Potters Poultry primarily supply plastic slats, although other types such as hardwood can be sourced for you. Our plastic slat is probably the strongest and most stable available and you will feel safe and steady when walking on them. We use a very simple galvanised steel and plastic structure beneath the slats for support. The legs are fully adjustable and can cope with variable floor levels. At the edge of the slats we can offer either vertical litter board, galvanised steel mesh or the continuous sloping ramp. When designing our slat system we carefully considered the issue of Red Mite, which can cause serious problems for a flock if not controlled. We have tried to minimise to absolute minimum the potential hiding places for Red Mite.

We specialise in providing flat chain feed systems. For rearing, layers, breeders and broilers. All our components are made from the highest quality materials, with most parts being either galvanised or plated to provide extra protection from corrosion. We stock a complete range of chain feeder parts and accessories, including powered drive units, corners, feed cleaners, flat chain and just about every part you may need.
