Offset or Parallel Shaft gear motors offer high-performance, tremendous value, and mechanical flexibility across a wide range of commercial equipment applications. They utilize traditional inline gear technologies, spur or helical gears, with stages arranged in a manner that results in a very short gear motor package.  The gear arrangement also provides clearance beneath the motor for attaching the load to the output of the gear reducer, which is not possible with in-line gear motors.
