Farm Digital Maps Services with GPS Referencing
Precision Ag offers GPS-referenced farm digital maps available in various formats, useful for managing all aspects of your farm. These accurate maps simplify tasks such as calculating fence-line distances, paddock areas, and planning or giving out instructions for specific locations. They can be provided on a whiteboard for office use or tear pads for contractors. The maps can highlight points of interest including paddock boundaries, internal fences, hazards, laneways, water points, gates, and assets. There is no need for special software to view these maps, ensuring ease of access and usability.

Soil Management Services for Precision Agriculture
Grid soil sampling is a meticulous method of gathering soil samples from a field using a systematic grid pattern. This technique addresses surface soil variability and facilitates precise, data-driven agricultural decisions. By segmenting the field into equally spaced cells, typically 2 hectares in size, and collecting eight sub-samples from each cell, farmers can pinpoint nutrient levels, pH, organic matter content, and soil texture. Such granularity supports site-specific management practices, enhancing both sustainability and productivity. Particularly advantageous in regions with high to medium rainfall, grid soil sampling ensures optimal resource allocation, leading to improved yields. Precision Ag has a fleet of 19 UTV bike sampling units spread across Australia, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery. This process involves four key steps: planning the sampling, creating a soil pH map, producing a lime application map, and generating a prescription file for tailored inputs. The systematic approach of grid soil sampling not only enhances farm output but also fosters long-term soil health and stability.
