The carriage is made of two superposed independent frames with high stability. Headblocks are mounted on the upper frame, assuring a perfect headblock alignment during the time. The cutting axis can rotate and adjust according to log conicity. The right cutting position is found through frame rotation and not through log positioning. The carriage is made of two overlapping indipendent frames wilh high torsional stability. On the upper frame are mounted all clamping headblocks and by means of a simple rotation system the longitudinal cutting axis can be adjusted according to the log conicity. What it is absolutely new on this carriage is that the variable cutting axis is not reached through log positioning but through frame positioning. Spike clamping an unclamping is controlled by oleodynamic cylinders. Movable spikes with hydraulic control with variable positions (up to 180 mm). Hydraulic circuit with VARIABLE DELIVERY PUMP, it allows more simultaneous mouvements without decreasing speed.
