The MAJOR Centre Mount Topper is a fully gear driven machine fitted with high speed rotors and twin cut swinging blades. The 909HD Topper is a heavier duty version of the 9FTGDX toppers.   A new blade design has a quicker flick back reducing shock loading onto gearboxes.  This machine is powered by rotor gearboxes through a large horsepower splitter gearbox.  A V rated PTO shaft is supplied as standard for best power transfer. It has an overrun and slip cutch to protect the tractor PTO.  Both models are robustly constructed and the free swinging blades ‘twin cut’ system gives precision cutting and greater spreading. The geared blades are timed to prevent blade collisions. To ensure there is no striping, the blades overlap by a minimal 78mm (3”).   The finish is the traditional MAJOR colours and is available with castor wheels.

The MAJOR Log Splitter range has three models available.  All models are robustly constructed to withstand the punishment of continuous use. Safety is paramount at Major, with the operator required to use both hands to control the hydraulic ram.
