For sampling grains, granulars and pellets, GF-type samplers offer different mounting options, and are designed simply. They feature a 316 stainless steel tube mounted at a 45-degree angle to the material flow and a slot that faces downstream between sampling periods. When signaled by the control system, the tube rotates 180 degrees so that the slot faces directly into the material flow to capture a cross-sectional sample which flows by gravity into a collection vessel. Models are available in air- or electric-drive systems. The air-operated GF Retractable retracts back into the mounting spool between cycles and is available for vertical or sloping lines.
