Roller Mills for Efficient High-Volume Grain Processing

Kan-Roll Roller Mills are designed to maximize feed utilization and operational efficiency in high-volume feeding environments. These mills are built with 12-inch by 52-inch chill-cast rolls that are corrugated in a spiral cut, ensuring high efficiency and low maintenance. Equipped with customizable roll settings to meet specific feed rations, Kan-Roll Roller Mills use high-quality, extra heavy-duty parts to minimize labor costs. Features include high-power magnets to trap metallic debris, built-in leveling jacks for portability, and a hand-lever adjusted feed control. Each mill unit allows for quick clearance adjustments and can accommodate high moisture grains with the optional sprayer for added dust control and moisture balance. A typical unit handles 2,500-3,800 bushels of high moisture corn per hour, with power requirements around 100 HP. Cost efficiency is also notable, as the operation cost is approximately 0.25 cents per bushel, with fuel consumption at 2.5 gallons of diesel per 1,000 bushels of grain processed, making it an economical choice for feeding operations.

R&R Machine Works specializes in the production of durable steam chests designed to handle high-moisture environments. Their steam chests are engineered with round shapes to support the continuous flow of large amounts of grain. Inside the chest, large distributors equipped with steam tubes ensure consistent and even cooking of the grain. These steam chests are constructed from strong, non-corrosive, curved stainless steel flanged sections for ease of installation. The entire chest features a stainless steel outer protective skin and is equipped with service doors for accessibility. All plumbing related to the steam chest is insulated to conserve energy and ensure safety. The steam chests also feature water-repellent improved rigid insulation with higher density. To prevent operational problems, the chests are designed to be supported correctly, reducing movement due to heat expansion and stress on the mill machine. Additionally, R&R Machine Works offers complete steam loop systems to increase energy efficiency.
