The Champion Vol-U-Flex® construction provides longer service life than conventional hose. Kinking not only restricts flow, it also makes a permanent fatigue and wear point within the hose. Custom-engineered for each application, this proven Vol-U-Flex® design is manufactured with a variety of FDA grade compounds. VOL-U-Flex Line and Port hose feature a double-helix spring-steel wire reinforcement encapsulated in a continuous bridge of rubber for tough, long-life service. This unique Salem-Republic feature greatly extends hose life at a cost comparable to what you would you would expect to pay for conventional hose constructions.

Hose for milk and edible fluids meet tough FDA sanitation requirements. FDA grade white latex rubber is used for lining and cover, offering a service temperature range of -20° F through 180° F. An optional high-temperature white chlorobutyl lining can be supplied for temperatures to 300° F for steam or chemical cleaning.

Abrasive dry bulk materials such as grains, flour, sugar, beans, dry pharmaceuticals, and food starch, require a high-grade FDA pure gum rubber tube. Tube lining and cover meet FDA sanitary standards and assure easy cleaning. Our Dry Bulk hose offers superior resistance to abrasion for lasting performance.
