In order to dissolve oxygen into the water, we use technology proven to be reliable and energy-efficient. We recommend one oxygen saturator per tank for easy regulation and monitoring of dissolved oxygen levels.

Aqualine Subsea System is a system that can contribute to solving salmon louse problems in the aquaculture industry. This system is environmentally friendly and contributes to improved fish welfare.

We have planned and built several dozen RAS facilities all over the world. We take care of the entire process, from designing the building and technical rooms, establishing procedures for disease prevention, handling fish logistics and negotiating contracts with contractors, to making sure every tank maintains optimal water quality.

We supply systems for handling of dead fish that has been developed and produced by Steinsvik. Steinsvik has delivered systems for dead fish handling since 1992.  The system offers complete receival systems with certified collecting containers, grinder and storage tank, and systems for mortality extraction.

ScaleAQ is developing a groundbreaking solution for closed aquaculture systems at sea (CAS). Our new system is designed with a focus on the needs of the fish and is ready to meet future demands for energy efficiency, sustainability, fish health, and safety.

The ScaleAQ Midgard System is the result of several years of hard work to find new, improved solutions within net pen technology – including pens, sinker tubes and nets. During development of the concept, we worked closely with Lerøy, Mowi and Salmar. We conducted exhaustive model tests at the Marintek Marine Laboratory, plus a number of full scale tests at several exposed locations.

The Steinsvik HardRIB is a boat with fantastic seakeeping abilities, which can also withstand a beating. Many will remember the HardRib name fondly, and it’s good reputation is the reason we kept the name. The new hull is developed in collaboration with Ola Lilloe Olsen, among other things known for his work on Palmer Johnson boats.

Steinsvik delivers several models of feed spreaders. Our spreaders are characterized by a solid construction. The bearings are of the highest quality and ensure a considerably longer life than other spreaders, before service is required. Our feed spreaders are available in several models, from 20–50 and 90mm dia. We have delivered around 15 000 of our highly reliable spreaders nationally and internationally the last 15 years. They have a good spread and are very gentle towards the feed. The spread of the feed can be adjusted to 20 meters in diameter. It can be used on feed pipes of 75 and 90 mm. A solid Magnum union connection provides a robust and reliable connection.

The Subfeeder is one of our newest products. It is a product developed for feeding fish below the lice belt. In addition, you can feed every day without being dependent of weather condition (wind/current). It can be directly connected to the 90 mm feeding tube and the feed will be brought down to the desired depth. The Subfeeder is produced in corrosion resistant material, has no moving parts and is highly reliable.
