This winter watering system is ideal for herds under 150 cow/calf pairs.  The Sub Zero bowl can be used all year round and is a great source of fresh water for livestock.  This system can be customized no matter what your water source.  You can even water from dugouts in the winter. A wet well is created beside the existing water source to avoid contamination.  Water is pumped to the surface to avoid contamination.  Water is pumped to the surface using a motion activated submersible pump, and is drained back when not in use. The Sub Zero bowl can support up to 3957 Gal/Day or 264 cow/calf pairs in the winter time at a recommended 15 Gal/Cow-Calf/Day.  A wind charger is highly recommended to provide alternative energy on those cloudy winter days.

The 24 Volt to 12 Volt Converter for Electric Fencing plugs directly into your solar system and runs off excess power capacity.  Setup is easy, and can be done in a matter of minutes.  The converter can run up to 5 miles of fence in the summer time.  This is ideal for keeping cattle out of your dugout.  This option is also great for protecting the cords and hoses on your Solar West unit.
