Cows must be allowed to rest as much as they want and as often as they want. This requires comfortable and dry stalls where they can lie down and stand up without any problems. A cow without enough space to lie down puts too much strain on her feet. Cows that lie down often rest well and are healthier. The lying time for a cow should be at least 12 hours a day, 14 hours a day if possible.

A feed front does much more than just give access to roughage. The Spinder Highline safety feed front gives greater freedom of movement for the cow and ensures peace and quiet during feeding. Spinder carry a manure-scraper unit, consisting of two drive units with drum drive, a number of plastic corner wheels and one or more scrapers that are driven by Spinder PE rope. A very animal-friendly and low-maintenance manure scraper unit to keeps the floors clean and dry. Spinder offer a suitable solution for every free stall, even with uneven passage lengths.

All Spinder PE rope manure scraper installations can be controlled using the Prinzing electronic control panels. The control panel continuously measures the current consumption of the drive motor. The drive motor is automatically turned off after the maximum pulling power / current consumption is exceeded.
