By this absorption, taste as well as smell of the plant and soil will change (perceptibly only by these insects). This will stop them from eating and the pest inconvenience and damage will disappear. If there has been a lot of inconvenience and damage in the past, a preventive treatment is recommended. Insect Shield has a residual effect of four weeks, after which a next treatment might be necessary (depends on insects which are still present or which are to be expected).
