Oil Seeds Roasting Machine (Roaster) is intended for moist and heat treatment of crushed seeds of oil plants before pressing. Oil Seeds Roasting Machine (Roaster) are intended for operation inside roofed industrial premises; they are an integral part of pressing plants equipment producing vegetable oils. Oil Seeds Roasting Machines (Roasters) are vertical columns consisting of one or several sections (pans), which walls are heated with vapour. For mixing and moving of the processed raw stuff the unit is equipped with blade mixers rotated by the joint shaft. To control the level of the crushed seeds in pans under continuous operation, Oil Seeds Roasting Machine (Roaster) is equipped with control valves.

One of the most common and effective methods of extracting vegetable oils from the seeds of oil crops used in industrial enterprises today is the technology of oil extraction using organic solvents. This technology allows obtaining oil and high-protein meal with a residual oil content of less than 1%. The heart of this technology is extractors, which have been produced by “TAN” company for more than 10 years already.

In the production of vegetable oil on an industrial scale, a combination of mechanical pressing technology followed by solvent oil extraction is used. The connecting links of these two technologies of oil production are expanders, which have been produced by “TAN” company in Ukraine for many years. The expander is a horizontal device with a rotating screw inside, and is designed for wet-heat treatment of material (soybean petal, sunflower or rapeseed meal), obtained after mechanical pressing of oil on screw presses. The expander body is equipped with a steam jacket with nozzles for supplying steam under pressure.
