Greenspec - GSC Computers for Industrial Greenhouse Management

Housing options range from office installation to more robust, greenhouse-resistant designs, although they aren't entirely watertight. Various configurations, such as the compact GSC Minis, cater to different requirements, including those focused on fertilizer management. The GSC computers are integral to regulating greenhouse conditions while storing all data and operations efficiently on a compact hard drive. For ease of monitoring and control, remote communication is enabled through software like TeamViewer, transmitting vital alarms and data via emails or an app. To safeguard data integrity, several backup options are offered.

TheGreenSpec - AFP Standard - Greenhouse Control System

The AFP Standard is designed specifically for greenhouse control, providing a robust system with 20 inputs and 20 outputs, tailored for managing core environmental functions. The inputs are categorized as 10 analogue, 4 counter, and 6 digital, supporting greenhouse monitoring needs like temperature, humidity, pH, and EC signals. It accommodates a range of signal readings, such as 4-20 mA or 0-3 V, while also supporting other ranges like 0-4 mA and 0-10 V, ensuring compatibility with most sensors. Outputs are provisioned as normally closed, but five can be switched to normally open, offering flexibility in control systems. The modular design of the AFP Standard allows for straightforward integration with additional units like AFP Lite, AFP Nano, or AFP 63, with built-in software extensions for seamless expansion. Each unit upon connection automatically identifies its type and requires configuration of relevant inputs and outputs, ensuring efficient and scalable greenhouse management.

The AFP 63 is an output unit designed to enhance automation in greenhouse operations. It integrates with the AFP standard 20/20 system and provides 63 outputs: 54 normally closed and 9 configurable as either normally closed or normally open. This unit is ideal for managing multiple electrical outputs needed in tasks such as switching lights, pumps, and valves on and off, which minimises installation time and cost. Suitable for fertigation and lighting functions, the AFP 63 can handle diverse climate inputs with Greenspec's flexible software, which allows precise control based on variables like time, radiation, and temperature. Additionally, it supports a fertigation setup that manages multiple pumps and valves, distributing water based on factors such as EC and pH levels. The unit can be easily connected to other AFP devices and computers via optical fiber, making it a practical and efficient choice for unregulated small greenhouses.
