The TurfMaker 550 hydroseeder can plant a lot of grass in just a few hours. It is large enough to mix and apply 200 pounds of wood mulch or 300 pounds of paper mulch with one tank load. In addition, it is fast enough to mix and apply as many as four tank loads per hour. The area planted with one tank load can range from 2,000 to 15,000 square feet, depending on the mulch thickness applied to the ground. Thicker and better mulch applications almost always provide more reliable results.

The TurfMaker 700 is the machine for every quality minded contractor. Jobs requiring Sod Quality Results™ are always applied with a hose and require moderate to heavy rates of wood fiber mulch.

The TurfMaker 800 hydroseeder is large enough to provide thick wood mulch applications on small home lawn sites, or thin “hydro-seeding” applications on as much as 25,000 square feet.  Either tank load can be loaded, mixed, and applied in less than thirty minutes. In addition, up to as many as 20 tank loads can be applied in a normal workday, assuming water for re-filling is readily available. Availability of water is never a problem with a TurfMaker 800. The best productivity is usually accomplished utilizing a fire hydrant for loading. However, when a fire hydrant is not available, the machine can fill itself from an auxiliary water tank using the exclusive TurfMaker ® self-filling system.

The TurfMaker 1000 gallon hydroseeder can cover large areas with a single tank load. When making thin applications on budget-sensitive jobs, paper mulch can be used to cover as much as an acre with one tank load. When going for Sod Quality Results™, a quality minded contractor can use 100% wood fiber mulch applied at heavy rates and cover 6,000-8,000 sq ft.

The TurfMaker 1200 hydroseeder is ideal for Sod Quality Results™ applications. A quality minded contractor can apply wood fiber mulch at heavy rates, along with premium seed, tackifiers, fertilizer, and cover up to 7,500 – 10,000 sq ft. with a tank load. Jobs requiring near perfect results are made with hose applications and usually take about 45 minutes per tank load. Typical roadside hydro-seeding applications can be made from the tower. One tank load can cover as much as an acre with a thin application of paper mulch. This type of application is not recommended where highly reliable results are required.
