Made from virgin plastics processed in state-of-the-art machines, mulch films are available in various sizes: Between 18 microns and 30 microns thickness (black/silver). Between 18 and 20 microns (suggested for short-season up to 3-4 months). Between 25 microns and 30 microns (suggested for 2-3 seasons up to 8-10 months).

Silage films are used primarily to preserve silage, hay and maize. They maintain the nutritional value of the contents and inhibit undesirable fermentation processes. To reach the needed properties that ensure protection throughout the duration of outdoor exposure the films require good resistance against weathering. Our silage wraps provide a waterproof weather shield for pasture and forage. They can be used to wrap square or round bales on individual turntable wrappers, high-speed satellite wrappers and tube line wrappers.

Ecovio® M2351 is our new biodegradable compound for film extrusion based on our biodegradable co-polyester ecoflex® F Blend. Due to its outstanding mechanical strength ecovio® M offers high down-gauging potential for thin agricultural or horticultural film applications such as mulch film, cover film, and silage film. The ready-made compound already contains anti-blocking agents and allows easy processing as a drop-in solution on standard PE lines. The processing of ecovio® M on extrusion lines depends on the formulation, the extrusion technology and processing conditions.
