Van Aarsen - Dosing Weigher Units
Dosing and weighing accuracy is crucial for producing the correct quality of the compound feed and produce at the lowest cost price for the feed miller. The Van Aarsen dosing weighers are designed to dose and weigh small quantities of ingredients, which are suitable for a wide range of products used in the animal feed milling industry. These ingredients all have different bulk densities and flowing characteristics.
Van Aarsen - Animal Feed Hammer Mills
The GD and 2D hammer mills are designed for the animal feed industry, to grind raw materials into small particles and meal. Both the GD and 2D hammer mill series cover capacities ranging from 5 – 100 tons per hour, dependent on type of raw material, formula and required grinding structure and can be incorporated in a pre-grinding as well as a post grinding system as a complete grinding solution including pre-bin, feeder, magnet cleaner, hammer mill, discharge hopper, aspiration filter, fan and control system.

Van Aarsen - Conditioners
Conditioning is the result of the three variables moisture, temperature and time. As moisture and temperature are related, time is the ultimate variable to enhance the process. Time can be gained with the application of a Long Term Conditioner (LTC). The LTC, consisting of a steam mixer, automatic steam quantity control and a Long Term Vessel (LTV), significantly improves the process of feed conditioning. This has a major effect on biosecurity, optimizing the nutritional quality of the feed and enhancing the pelletability of the product as well as improving the pellet quality.
Van Aarsen - Animal Feed Pelleting Machines
Animal feed pellets can be produced in several diameters and hardness, by pelletizing raw materials after grinding, mixing and conditioning. The Van Aarsen C and CU pellet mill range enable capacities up to 60 tons per hour depending on various parameters. They offer low operational costs per ton feed, even down to 1 €/ton, including dies, rollers and wear parts.
Van Aarsen - Counterflow Cooling System
The Van Aarsen counterflow cooling system is designed for cooling pellets after pelletizing back to ± 5°C above ambient air temperature. This is done to achieve a good PDI, flow ability, protect against decay and minimize chemical and biochemical reactions.
Van Aarsen - Crumbler
During crumbling pellets are reduced to crumbs. The advantages of the pelleting process are maintained as much as possible. The size of the crumbs is adapted to the need of the animal and the feeding system. Meal intake consumes a lot of energy for an animal; crumbs on the other hand can be quickly and easily consumed.
