There is a long list of advantages of using Dyneema® fibres to replace steel wire, polyester or nylon. The very strong and very light D12, with Dyneema®, has proven to be an efficient and well performing alternative: 

All D12 can be supplied with different types of overbraid, such as (combinations of) Polyester, Dyneema®, Technora®. Kevlar® or Vectran.

Enkalon PL is designed especially for Pelagic Fishing, where its use has been proven. PL Netting has very high elasticity and 10 % higher knot strength than other nylon netting in the industry. Mesh sizes from 2 cm full mesh up to unlimited. Because of the higher knot strength smaller diameters can be used, resulting in fuel savings of 20-30%. Per trip this amounts to saving thousands of liters.

Van Beelen Group manufactures twisted and braided Enkalon® LongLife twine. This high quality nylon twine, mostly used as twine for making and reparing netting, is available in LongLife (LL) and PL quality. PL twine has been delevoped especially for pelagic fishing, with high strength and high elasticity. Made to order: our customers can ask us to make the twine more or less firm than the standard, just as meets their need.

Polyester Supercatch is made from high tenacity Diolen® Polyester. This type of Polyester can be used to replace Nylon and Polyethylene net panels.  It is about 15% stronger than conventional Polyester and 10% stronger than Nylo. Braided Polyester Supercatch twine is moslty used as netting twine for Supercatch netting.
