The Chainovation chain feeding system can be used for a wide range of applications, enabling the most effective set-up for every type of poultry house (breeders rearing, production and layers).  The Chainovation chain feeding system, developed in cooperation with breeding associations, is an extremely reliable system. Feed can be distributed at various speeds (max. 3000 kg/hour) through the feed trough, giving all the birds almost simultaneous access to the feed. This reduces stress inside the poultry house and promotes animal welfare and animal health.

The Matrix male feeding system is a unique and patented system, developed to optimize the uniformity of the males, positively influencing fertility and creating optimal rest in the production house during feeding. The Matrix system is perceived by many breeding organizations as the most efficient and accurate feeding system for males. Males eat side by side, simplifying control and selection possibilities. The males have access to an equal portion of feed at the same time, over the complete length of the feed line. The feed quantity can be accurately set with the 10-position feed level regulator. This prevents dominant behaviour and ensures more rest in the house and among the animals. Because the males eat from a trough, the feeding time takes longer, which result in the males eating calmer.

VDL Agrotech has developed the Gallox, a new feed pan for feeding 8-10 males per pan in broiler breeder houses. Feed Pan With Cups: The Gallox feed pan offers ample space for 8 to 10 males to get feed from each pan in broiler breeder houses. The Gallox bottom with “cups” and extra ridge ensures that the dosed feed doesn’t spread further into the bottom pan while dosing the feed. Males have to peck the feed out of the small “cups” in a specific way, spreading the feed time over a longer period.
