All the feeders are ideal for nursery, wean-to-finish and finisher pigs. All feeder models are built of plastic and stainless steel – a closed plastic hopper with a cover and a feed tube in stainless steel. Feeders are easy to adjust and easy to clean and are all suitable for both meal and pellet feed. The MAXI+ feeders and the MAXI+ Twin are equipped with a molded stainless steel trough, which gives a smooth and hygienic surface. The VissingMat are equipped with a trough made in polymer concrete – one model for weaners and smaller pen sizes and one model for finisher and larger pen sizes. The width of the feeders is adapted, so they are easy to install in existing barns, when replacing old tube style feeders.

The Combi Flex farrowing pen is developed for the sow to walk around freely in the pen, while everything is done to protect the newborn piglets. If wanted the sow can be hold fixed in the farrowing crate 3-4 days after farrowing. The farrowing crate is designed for today’s larger sows, with focus on optimizing access to the teats. When the sow and the piglets feel the freedom, it has been proven, that the piglets have a significant higher weaning weight. By the creep nest, a divider, which can be lifted is installed.

As something completely new, a finisher pen of PVC dividers has been developed. The PVC divider pen is economically very affordable, without compromising on the materials. The pens have been composed of stainless steel or galvanized profiles and can be designed with small or large gates. The dividers forms a completely closed and smooth surface which is very easy to clean

The penning equipment for the controlled environment unit is made in height 75cm. It is a combination of closed and ventilated dividers, which provides the pigs with optimal conditions for good growth.

The CSA-series is extremely reliable. From the inlet hopper the feed is lead with a strong auger over the rotation filter to the conveyor pipe. This system secures an even distribution of the feed and prevents at the same time, foreign items to enter the system. The correlation between the speed of the conveying auger and the feed wire prevents any over or under filling of the feed pipes. The auger is available for both pellets and flour.

The mating stall is designed so that it provides ample space for both the sow and the staff while facilitating a strong stimulation of estrus and high reproduction performance. The stall is made with saloon gates making it easy to move the gilt or sow into the stall, while the staff can enter the stall without opening the gate. The stall design allows implementation of either a poly trough or a stainless suspended trough. The stall is standard with prefabricated bars in front but can also be fitted with a front gate. The stall is galvanized and with solid legs. Stainless steel fastening secures a long durability of the stall.

UK animal welfare legislation requires that the sows must be able to move around freely. That is why Vissing Agro’s free access stall (FAS) is a good choice. It is designed with a special rear part allowing it to facililtate AI. The FAS has been developed with focus on providing amble space for both and staff facilitating stimulation of the sow before insemination and high reproduction performance. The strong and animal shaped rear gate provides easy access for the sow to access the stall, while the gate protects the sows and prevents other animals from getting into the FAS. The front part of the FAS is designed to provide easy access for treatment of the sow.

Vissing Agro’s free access stall (FAS) is the most robust and appraised product of its kind and the original design has been maintained. The FAS is designed so that the sow can easily move in and out of it. When the sow is inside the FASl, other sows cannot enter the same stall. The FASs can be locked sequentially as well as individually both from the front and rear end of the stall.

Penning made of a combination of panel and steel bars are 100 or 110 cm high. The panel is a 12 mm solid plastic sheet in the bottom enforced by a steel frame and provided with vertical steel bars at the top. The panel is attached to floor with strong 50 x 50 mm steel posts. The panel might also be provided with 210 cm high steel post connected to a 1 ”galvanized pipe. This solution is used where increased stability is required such as in pens for boars. Steel grids allowing pigs contact with other pigs in neighbor pens might be provided for this solution.

50 mm panels are delivered in light gray color with a smooth surface for easy cleaning. Pen sides are built to a height of 100, 110 or 120 cm and fixed with strong galvanized posts 50 x 50 mm with same height as the pen sides or with 210 cm high posts connected with 1” galvanized pipe for increased stability.
