The mating stall is designed so that it provides ample space for both the sow and the staff while facilitating a strong stimulation of estrus and high reproduction performance. The stall is made with saloon gates making it easy to move the gilt or sow into the stall, while the staff can enter the stall without opening the gate. The stall design allows implementation of either a poly trough or a stainless suspended trough. The stall is standard with prefabricated bars in front but can also be fitted with a front gate. The stall is galvanized and with solid legs. Stainless steel fastening secures a long durability of the stall.

UK animal welfare legislation requires that the sows must be able to move around freely. That is why Vissing Agro’s free access stall (FAS) is a good choice. It is designed with a special rear part allowing it to facililtate AI. The FAS has been developed with focus on providing amble space for both and staff facilitating stimulation of the sow before insemination and high reproduction performance. The strong and animal shaped rear gate provides easy access for the sow to access the stall, while the gate protects the sows and prevents other animals from getting into the FAS. The front part of the FAS is designed to provide easy access for treatment of the sow.

Vissing Agro’s free access stall (FAS) is the most robust and appraised product of its kind and the original design has been maintained. The FAS is designed so that the sow can easily move in and out of it. When the sow is inside the FASl, other sows cannot enter the same stall. The FASs can be locked sequentially as well as individually both from the front and rear end of the stall.

Penning made of a combination of panel and steel bars are 100 or 110 cm high. The panel is a 12 mm solid plastic sheet in the bottom enforced by a steel frame and provided with vertical steel bars at the top. The panel is attached to floor with strong 50 x 50 mm steel posts. The panel might also be provided with 210 cm high steel post connected to a 1 ”galvanized pipe. This solution is used where increased stability is required such as in pens for boars. Steel grids allowing pigs contact with other pigs in neighbor pens might be provided for this solution.

50 mm panels are delivered in light gray color with a smooth surface for easy cleaning. Pen sides are built to a height of 100, 110 or 120 cm and fixed with strong galvanized posts 50 x 50 mm with same height as the pen sides or with 210 cm high posts connected with 1” galvanized pipe for increased stability.

Two-climate weaner pens might be made of 35 mm plastic board in light gray color. The pen comprises a combination of closed and ventilated separation walls which offers the pigs the most optimal conditions for growth. The pen walls have a smooth and dense surface and are extremely easy to clean. The pens are built in modules and can be provided in a height of 62/75cm or closed in the lower 50 cm above floor with 2 overlying horizontal bars. The pens might include gates covering the width of the pen or small custom-made gates.

Vissing Agro finisher penning made of 35 mm plastic boards is an economically attractive solution, without compromising on quality and materials. The pen comprises a combination of closed and ventilated separation walls which gives the pigs the most optimal conditions for growth. The pen walls have a smooth and dense surface and are extremely easy to clean. The pens are built in modules and can be provided in a height of 87 cm or 100 cm. Penning might include a closed plastic boards 75/100 cm high or closed in the lower 75 cm with 1 or 2 overlying horizontal bars. The pens might include gates covering the width of the pen or small custom made gates.

This penning system is made of compact fiber material, which is an incredibly strong and durable material the fact that it is only 10 mm thick. The penning takes up a minimum of space in the pig units allowing more animals in the whole area as compared to thicker penning.

The pens are built in modules of plastic panel with 50 mm thickness and the color light gray. There are several combination options either fully enclosed panels 100 cm high or 50 cm closed panel with 3 horizontal bars and a total height of 87 cm, 50 cm panel with 4 bars and a total height of 100 cm. Panel pens are made with small gates. In the case of liquid feeding the feed pipes might be integrated into the panel wall providing a cleaning-friendly solution without feeding pipes bolted to the penning. The supply pipe from the liquid feeding system is connected directly on top of the pen wall. The panel wall is attached to the pen floor with strong posts or stainless-steel fittings.

Drive units from Vissing Agro can be provided as both horizontal and vertical models. The drive units are designed for both 38, 48, 50 and 60 mm feed pipes. The box is made of stainless steel and designed according to CE standards.
