The Weiss McNair 9800 California Special nut harvester is designed to help California meet all government clean air and water regulations. The long intermediate dirt chain allows dirt to sift through the chain before the suction fan vacuums debris from the crop for less dust and a cleaner harvest. The vacuum system provides for faster, cleaner loads. The 9800 has fewer parts, while gear boxes, drive sprockets, extension shafts, and roller chains have been eliminated to assure minimal downtime. The Magnum X Harvester features a full 48" straight thru pickup, separation, and elevation system with an airlock at the dirt chain to control dust. The engine is rear mounted, allowing for improved visibility to all sides, a quieter, cooler operator area, a lighter picking head that won`t sink into soft dirt, while the rear mounted engine puts weight on the drive wheels for increased traction.

The proven Weiss McNair tractor mount center delivery V-Sweeper is now offered in a Low Profile Vee (LPV) for sweeping in orchards with narrow rows and bushy trees where a one way sweeper could not operate. The sweeper heads are 4 bar tine bar type.
