Three small but essential advances make the new BerryTek Color Sortivator the gentlest and most sanitary blueberry color sorter in the industry. First, an integrated elevator transfers the berries from one machine to the next with a drop of less than 2 inches. Second, the pathway from the main channelized belt through the camera system has been reduced by 2 full inches. Third, all new WECO machines feature integrated wash and dry-in-place systems.

Introduced in 2021, the new Line-Control Touchscreen allows the user to control all WECO manufactured cleaning line equipment - from the blower to the color and soft sorters through the inspection table. Our new Sortivator machines require this new 19” touchscreen with our new state-of-the-art software platform. Start, stop, line speed adjustments, and the in-place cleaning/drying functions are controlled from this central touchscreen. The new display also provides real-time expanded sort data. Additionally, both LAN and WAN networking capabilities are included for future data collection and reporting.

Available in 6- and 8-foot lengths, the WECO-designed inspection table fits perfectly with our Sortivator machines.

Combine the BerryTek and IMPULSE Sortivators for Multiple Levels of Sorting, Reduced Labor and Improved Pack-out. Combine the BerryTek and Impulse cranberry sorting machines for multiple levels of sorting, reduced labor and improved pack-out. The BerryTek and Impulse systems can be used as standalone units or in conjunction with one another, offering packers multiple levels of sorting. Combining the BerryTek and Impulse sorters allows the berries to be viewed three times for softness and twice for color in a single pass, dramatically reducing the need for human handling of the fruit. The BerryTek is the only two-view sorter that allows fresh market packers to see two sides of the berry at the same time.

The vibratory pan-feed delivery system that carries raspberries to the optical cameras prevents the frozen fruit from sticking to the belts. VibeTek provides a critical final clean-up sort after an IQF tunnel, and can also be used for repacking frozen berries in the off-season. Available in 40” and 64” widths.

Its stainless steel design makes the PecanTek-FS extremely durable and able to withstand the most challenging environments. Our self-cleaning camera system prevents the buildup of dust and debris during the harvesting process, while removing anything picked up in facilities in harsh environments. The 64-point air manifold rejects unwanted material with precise air nozzles, providing a high reject rate.

The WECO TomatoTek tomato sorter offers the same high level of service that we have provided to the tomato industry for 25 years. The TomatoTek tomato color sorting machine is as effective as the Golden Streak, and its capabilities may be expanded by adding the following features: Radio-frequency identifications (RFID), Global Positioning System (GPS), Wireless remote control, Driver’s console, Data logging and transmission. The TomatoTek requires only a single control display, and it can be built to any width.

Our system starts with the Chromax camera that views walnuts in free fall without the need for a clean background. During processing, the camera remains clean for hours, thanks to a well-spaced viewing window. Plus, a touchscreen color display makes adjustments simple.
