World Aquaculture Society Past Events
The World Aquaculture Society is the organization of professionals in the most important field in the world, with members of more than 100 countries. Its annual conference is recognized globally as the most relevant for the exchange of knowledge, technology, innovation and professional network training. During WA2021 there will be the participation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and other international organizations. There will be multiple presentations, workshops, business meetings, trade exhibition, art gallery, technical visits to farms and process plants in the region, and various events dedicated to building professional networks. Due to the richness of its natural and hydrological resources, Mexico is considered one of the countries with the greatest aquaculture potential in the world. It is an honor for Mexico and a great opportunity that Mérida will become the capital of aquaculture during 2021. #AquacultureNow.
AQUACULTURE AMERICA 2021 returns to one of the favorite tourist spots in the world for the only major national aquaculture conference and exposition held in the U.S. The U.S. Aquaculture Society (formerly U.S. Chapter of WAS) joins with National Aquaculture Association and the Aquaculture Suppliers Association to produce the annual Aquaculture America meetings. These sponsors are joined by the annual meetings of Aquacultural Engineering Society, US Trout Farmers Association and many more associations to make Aquaculture America 2021 the one meeting in the U.S. that you don’t want to miss!
This is the biannual meeting of the Physiology Section of the American Fisheries Society. 300-500 delegates are expected from North America, UK, Europe and farther afield, covering everything from Physiology of fish Aquaculture, nutrition, parasites and disease to swimming and migratory physiology, ecological physiology, environmental stress and toxicology, in both fresh and seawater environments.
World Aquaculture 2014 (WA14) will combine the international annual conference and exposition of the World Aquaculture Society with the highly successful biennial Australasian Aquaculture event. Many other associations, industry and government will be in attendance as the aquaculture and associated industries convene at the Adelaide Convention Centre for what will be the largest primary industries conference and trade show to be held in the Asia Pacific region for some years. WA14 will make for a tremendous meeting of aquaculture participants from around the world.
The International Symposium on Fish Nutrition and Feeding is the premier international forum for researchers, academics and industry concerned with the nutrition and feeding of aquatic animals. The Symposium typically attracts 300–700 researchers, academics and industry representatives from throughout the world. The venue of the International Symposium on Fish Nutrition and Feeding (“ISFNF 2014”) will be the award winning facilities at the Cairns Convention Centre—Australia’s gateway to the Asia Pacific. This world acclaimed convention centre is everything you would expect from an international standard purpose-built venue located amidst the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef and ancient tropical rainforests.
