The Wydale System. Feeder(s) hang on the calf pen gate in such a way that the teats are level with the calves` backs. Pour in the milk and make sure each calf is sucking. Mix more milk and move the feeder(s) to the next pen. Using this system a typical calf can be weaned on as little as 15 kgs of milk powder as opposed to 50 kgs on the Ad Lib method. The cowling guides the calf to the teat and protects it from its neighbour ensuring slow drinkers get enough milk.

Mix the required amount of milk for one pen. Feeder(s) hang on the calf pen gate in such a way that the teats are level with the calves` backs. Pour in the milk and make sure each calf is sucking. Mix more milk and move the feeder(s) to the next pen. One man using two 5 Teat feeders can feed over 70 calves an hour. Using this system a typical calf can be weaned on as little as 15 kgs of milk powder as opposed to 50 kgs on the Ad Lib method.

A small ad-lib Hay feeder that has a front cowl providing rain protection and enabling external use. The compact Hay feeder is made from the same tough and durable polyethylene which has proven itself over many years of service in our well known calf feeders. Ideal uses include sheep, lambs, goats and ponies. Wastage is greatly reduced.

Feeding molasses to your stock is a tried and proven way of adding nutrients and encouraging forage intake but getting it into them has sometimes been difficult. This feeder meets the farmers main requirements. The central pivot hook enables the feeder to be carried under a buckrake or loader without spilling. The Milk Mixer has been designed to eliminate labour intensive hand mixing and carrying of milk. The extra two puncture proof castor wheels improve stability on rough ground. It`s rapid mixing action reduces powder to liquid in seconds whilst the translucent tub allows accurate measurement of liquid. With the outlet positioned at the lowest point every last drop of milk can be used and washing is easy. A twist on lid minimises splashing and reduces fly contamination.
