LED Spectrum

Our proprietary LED design boosts plant health, appearance, taste and texture. It’s common knowledge that plants need sunlight to grow, but that’s not the whole truth. In fact, plants only need a small part of sunlight. This is what we call the visible spectrum and it`s made up of seven colors - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. At YesHealth Group, we recreate the spectrum with a proprietary LED design, which our team has researched and developed in-house over the past 10+ years, led by Chief Technology Advisor and pioneer of optoelectronic semiconductors, Professor Wang-Nang Wang. The intensity of each color can be controlled, mimicking the natural changes in sunlight and giving the plants what they need at different stages of growth. Most leafy vegetables are harvested in cycles of between 28 and 35 days, during which time they require varying levels of intensity.

Bio-fertilizers

Liquid microbial bio-fertilizers ensure healthy plants, people and planet. The 3 key nutrients in any fertilizer are nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Nitrogen helps the plant create proteins during growth, phosphorus is essential for photosynthesis in the plant’s leaves, and potassium is vital for the plant’s overall health. At YesHealth Group, we develop our own proprietary liquid microbial bio-fertilizers, made from natural ingredients such as soybeans and containing living microorganisms that promote healthy plant growth. The ingredients, including soybeans which are rich in protein, oyster shells for calcium and sugar for carbon, are cultivated together under UV sterilization. At the core of YesHealth Group is our belief that liquid microbial bio-fertilizers ensure healthy plants, people and planet, contributing to our leafy vegetables superior flavor and appearance.

Automation

Seeding Automation

The YesBase edible gel substrate is inserted into a tray and transferred into the seeding automation by a robotic arm. Our seeding automation is capable of planting hundreds of seeds in less than 15 seconds, and is compatible with seeds of all shapes and sizes.

Transplanting Automation

After the seeds have germinated and sprouted in darkness, they are transplanted onto larger growing boards. Several hundred seedlings are transplanted in a single motion, then loaded onto an AGV and placed under LED lighting for the main growth cycle.
