ZEBCARE - Artemia Hatching System for Research Facilities
The Zebcare Artemia Hatching System is a specialized solution designed for research facilities focused on aquatic life. This system is tailored to hatch Artemia, commonly known as brine shrimp, which are a crucial food source in primary aquatic research. The system incorporates three transparent plastic hatching cones within a durable polypropylene lightproof cabinet. Each cone is Ø 160 mm and 500 mm in height, with a six-liter capacity. Equipped with a drain valve, aeration, and LED lighting, the system ensures optimal hatching conditions. To facilitate easy harvesting, the system features a collecting tray and a beaker with a 100-micron stainless steel mesh. The electric switch allows for coordinated control of lighting, heating, and aeration. This compact system is engineered for placement alongside existing zebrafish husbandry systems and requires a connection to water supply and drainage. Zebcare recommends the use of Great Salt Lake Artemia cysts, leveraging its inventory for rapid delivery.
