At that time, China`s economy was backward and people`s friendship was simple. After working, farmers could thank everyone for their help with a dinner.

Wu, founder of Zhengzhou First Industry, once followed his father to a friend`s house to help pick out mandarin and saw the hand picking was repetitive and time-consuming. With a special interest in machinery, Wu started to develop a machine that could automatically sort out the size of the mandarins with his father. Soon one mandarin grader was produced. Although the first grader was simple in structure and rough in workmanship, it was praised by all the friends around, and some people put forward the idea of mass production. With the encouragement, Wu`s father became the founder of the first generation sorting machine factory , Which is the predecessor of Zhengzhou First Industry.

Wu was influenced by his father and had a strong interest in machine design from an early age. After graduating from university, he inherited his father`s business and became the owner of the sorting machine factory, which was officially named Zhengzhou First Industry in 2012.

Based on the mandarin grader, Wu and his engineers designed the garlic and onion grader. At that time, the garlic processing plant in China needed 40 ~ 50 workers to select the garlic according to diameters. With our grading and sorting machine, only 4 ~ 5 people were needed from dumping to packaging, which greatly improved the efficiency. In addition, the price is economical and the operation is simple, which attracts garlic growers and processing plants from all over the country to buy. Within five years, our market share of garlic grading machines in China keeps as high as 70%. Then we designed the blueberry grader (patented), potato grader, jujube grader, sweet potato cleaning sorting line, fruit waxing sorting line, electronic weight sorting machine, etc.

In 2015, we expanded business to international market. At the beginning we provided sorting and cleaning equipment for dates, potato, garlic, citrus and other fresh products in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Soon we have customers from Australia and European countries, such as blueberry farms, tomato and sweet potato processing plants, avocado exporters and so on. They have higher requirements for equipment quality, pay more attention to the protection of fruits, and prefer automatic production lines from dumping to cleaning, air drying, grading and packaging. The increasing inquires accelerated our r&d and production, making us one of the fastest-growing fresh processing equipment manufacturers in China.
