When you question a producer, Orthman folding toolbars are often regarded as the best that money can buy.1500SERIESTOOLBARS90°135°115°180°The Orthman 1500 Series toolbar’s innovative internal folding cylinder design allows the toolbar to fold 90°, 115°, 135° or 180°. The folding cylinder being housed inside the toolbar frees up toolbar space versus an external folding cylinder that many competitors employ. 1500 toolbars are available in both planter and cultivator models ranging from 6 row 40” to 16 row 30” in a variety of row spacings. Producers have the option on all 1500 toolbars to choose either 3/8” or 1/2” wall tubing. The 1500 Series was developed based on the original principles of the Orthman internal cylinder folding toolbar developed in the 1970’s.• Wing coupler kits are available for 1500 planter bars to alleviate the need for additional planter drives for wing row units• Hinges are 14” wide and line-bored for smooth movement and superior strength• 1/2” wall tubing is standard on center sections on models totaling more than 35 feet in length• All bar caps are drilled and tapped for simple addition of row markers• Adjustable wing stops are mandatory for 115° or 135° to support the weight of wing• Planter bars are factory set to 90° all other folding angles are specified when ordering• 1500 bars are all equipped with safety lighting kits
