Agricultural Tipping Trailers - Brochure
BECO Agricultural Tipping Trailers Strengthat workBECO Agricultural Tipping TrailersTipping body: “smooth for easy unloading” In manufacturing our latest generation of agricultural tipping trailers, we have taken a step forward and have constructed the body without any vertical braces. This has major advantages compared to the traditional construction method. Due to the lack of braces and welds, the sides are smoother. This, in combination with the tapered shape of the body, makes the load slide more quickly from the body. Another advantage is even load distribution, which guarantees a longer lifespan. The tailgate is built to be very compact, with the hydraulic cylinders mounted in such a way that they are protected. In addition, the tailgate opens wide so that your product can be unloaded safely and without hindrance. The sizable grain chute can be operated from both sides. As standard, the body is provided with a ladder with anti-slip rungs and a large viewing grid, allowing you to safely access the body. Chassis: “the foundation” One of the most important characteristics of BECO tipping trailers is the durable chassis. Much attention has been paid to making the chassis easy to clean and preventing spillage from the load from sticking to the chassis after unloading. A large overhang ensures that it is easy to unload into a chute. The hydraulic tipping cylinder is mounted on universal joints to avoid subjecting the cylinder to lateral forces and thereby guaranteeing a long lifespan. A unique feature is the slim-line, rubber-sprung drawbar with variable height adjustment and fitted with a solid, rotating towing eye. The jack leg is sunk into the drawbar, creating the maximum possible ground clearance. In order to prevent unintended operation, the jack leg is dual-action operated and is supplied with a non-return valve. A powerful towing hitch is attached to the rear of the chassis. BECO agricultural tipping trailers are the ultimate combination of our many years of experience in the development and manufacture of tipping trailers. Of course, the past 35 years’ worth of client and dealer experience has also been incorporated into our designs. Thanks to them, we can say, “for practical use and because of practical use”.“BECO BRINGS IN YOUR HARVEST”BECO tandem-axle tipping trailers are supplied as standard with our unique, light-towing oscillating tandem that is equipped with BPW axles with major braking capacity. The BECO oscillating tandem is provided with an ideally positioned main axle, a bearing system and an off-centre pivot point. Because of the off-centre pivot point, the front axle carries approximately 48% of the load, while the rear axle carries 52%. These characteristics provide optimum compensation between the axles and reduce the necessary towing power. As a result, you will be more mobile during wet off-road conditions, and you will save fuel. Besides reducing the towing power required, the BECO oscillating tandem also provides maximum stability when being towed and – in particular – during tipping.Braking: “safety first” As standard, BECO tipping trailers are equipped with hydraulic brakes on all wheels. Air braking, or a combination of air and hydraulic braking, can be chosen as optional extras. These can be combined with an automatic load-dependant brake proportioning valve. Tyres: “the right tyres are kind to your land” Wide-ranging variables, including soil composition, load capacity and required speed mean that extra focus must be placed on making the correct tyre choice. BECO tipping trailers can be fitted with tyres from a range of brands with various sizes, profiles and diameters. Further information is available from your BECO dealer. Durability BECO tipping trailers are known for their durability. Ensuring extended lifespan is a good reason for ma-king wise economic investments. We would therefore like to highlight a few prominent features. Loading bay joins are welded in a fully consecutive manner. This eliminates the risk of moisture collecting in hollow spaces, thus preventing rust. BECO also ensures the long-term preservation of its products. All compo-nents are fully grit-blasted and spray-painted with dual-compound primer and a finishing coat. Pivot points are ideally positioned and are provided with easy-to-reach lubrication points. This makes maintenance easy, while limiting wear. LED lighting is used all-round, significantly increasing visibility and safety.Tandem versionOur triple-axle BECO tipping trailers are supplied as standard with a mechanical parabolic suspended tridem with BPW axles. These tippers are also equipped with axle ground supports to guarantee stability during tipping. In addition, our triple-axle vehicles are supplied as standard with hydraulic active steering on the front and rear axles, thereby minimising resistance when manoeuvring. The BECO steering system is characterised by its simplicity, reliability and sharp steering angle. The hydraulic steering cylinders are safely mounted underneath the tipping trailer, minimising the chances of damage.Tridem versionStandard features on tandem tipping trailers: • Top-quality finishing. • Tapered body with 4 mm side walls and completely flat 6 mm floor. • Large viewing window with removable/reversible grid with rounded bars, removable cover. • Ladder with anti-slip rungs on front of tipping body. • Dual-action hydraulic tailgate provided with active non-return valve and catch hooks. • Grain chute that can be operated from both sides. • Bevelled corners on rear of loading bay and on tailgate. • Rubber-sprung, variable height adjustable drawbar. • Hose connections fixed to drawbar. • Dual-action operated jack leg controlled by hand pump (or by 3-way valves connected to tailgate auxiliary system, depending on user). • Rotatable towing eye. • BECO oscillating tandem with exchangeable bearing system. • BPW axles with major braking capacity. • All-wheel hydraulic brakes. • Hose rupture safety valve • Steep tipping angle • Rear towing hook. • Rope hooks. • 1,900 mm tread width (can depend on tyre size chosen). • Hinge-mounted lighting. • All-round LED lighting (incl. width warning lights on front and rear). • Fully grit-blasted and spray-painted with dual-compound primer and finishing coat. This gives the system a number of unique characteristics. The most significant of these is its unrivalled surface adaptation and extremely sharp steering angle. Furthermore, the fully independent suspension optimally distributes load pressure per wheel, regardless of how far the wheel in question is required to extend in or out. This greatly re-duces the required towing power. Its stability is a further factor contributing to the success of this undercarriage.Diagonal stabilisation, combined with an excellent rollcentre-of-gravity, ensure highly stable and smooth rideHydraulic forced steering An optional extra that is often chosen is forced steering. On a dual-axle system, this steering is fitted to the rear axle of the tandem, while it is fitted to the front and rear axles of a triple-axle system. This steering system operates in forward and in reverse. Although the principle behind hydraulic active steering is relatively simple, our system is distinct thanks to its details. The BECO steering system has been rendered safe by means of pressure release valves, which also ensure safe and stable steering action at high speeds and when carrying heavy loads. In addition, all cylinders forming part of the steering system are equipped with depressurising nipples, making it easy to depressurise the system. The BECO steering system can be aligned using a hand pump and ball valves, or by means of electrical control from the tractor cabin. Hydraulic suspension with parabolic springs This type of undercarriage features hydraulic com-pensating suspension according to which the axles are attached to the chassis by means of two parabolic leaf springs. This BECO product is characterised by a number of unique features. Extra-long leaf springs have been used to limit torque in the axle bindings and leaf springs. As a further advantage, this conside-rably improves pressure distribution in case of diago-nal compensation, ensuring light towing and reduced wear. The cylinders are provided with maintenance-free ball joints sourced from the automotive sector. This type of undercarriage guarantees superb ride characteristics, whether on-road or off-road. The tipping trailer can also be levelled if tipping on a slope is required. During tipping, axle ground supports automatically extend to ensure stability.characteristics. This undercarriage is also fully maintenance-free thanks to the use of special ball joints sourced from the automotive sector. If semi-automatic height regulation is selected, the following can be controlled from the tractor cabin: the height of the chassis, levelling during tipping and restoring ride position with a single press of a button.Version Load-capacityDimension Body In mm Volumekg length width height cylinder Super 1200 Tandem 12000 5500 2250 1300 24 liter5500 2450 1200Super 1400 Tandem 14000 6000 2250 1300 24 liter6000 2450 1200Super 1600 Tandem 16000 6500 2250 1400 35 liter6500 2450 1300Super 1800 Tandem 18000 7000 2250 1500 40 liter7000 2450 1400Super 2000 Tandem 20000 7500 2250 1500 44 liter 7500 2450 1400Super 2200 Tandem 22000 7500 2250 1600 49 liter 7500 2450 1500Super 2400 Tridem 24000 8000 2250 1600 62 liter 8000 2450 1500Super 2600 Tridem 26000 8500 2250 1600 70 liter 8500 2450 1500Please note: * Dimensions and designs are variable and are subject to change * Body’s are tapered in design * Interior body width 2250 mm = exterior 2550 mm * Body width 2450 mm = exterior 2740 mmSuper Series Technical SpecificationsLift axle as optional extra A lift axle can be chosen in combination with semi-automatic height regulation. When the vehicle is empty, this allows the front axle of the tipping trailer to be lifted so that it rides on only two axles. If required by circumstances, this system also allows weight to be lifted from the front axle, thereby placing extra weight on the tractor. Our tipping trailers and cargo hook carriers can be fitted with auxiliary power systems as optional extras, thereby considerably increasing options for use.
