Bioline - Pressure Compensating Dripline - Brochure
WASTEWATER DIVISIONPRODUCT ADVANTAGES• Pressure compensation - all drippers deliver equal flow, even on sloped or rolling terrain.• Unique flow path - Turbonet technology provides more control of water and a high resistance to clogging.• Continuous self-flushing dripper design - flushes debris, as it is detected - throughout operation, not just at the beginning or end of a cycle. Ensures uninterrupted dripper operation.• Single hole dripper outlet from tubing: - Better protection against root intrusion - Allows the dripline to be used in subsurface applications without need for chemical protection• Drippers capture water flow from the center of the tubing - ensures that only the cleanest flow enters the dripper.• Built-in physical root barrier - drippers are protected from root intrusion without the need for chemical protection. Water exits dripper in one location while exiting the tubing in another. • Three dripper flow rates - provides the broadest range of flow rates available. Allows the designer to match the dripline to any soil or slope condition.• Bioline tubing is completely wrapped in purple - easily identifying it for non-potable use, regardless of how the tubing is installed.• Anti-bacterial-impregnated drippers - prevents buildup of microbial slime.• Can be used subsurface - Bioline can be installed on-surface, under cover or subsurface.• No special storage requirements - does not degrade if stored outdoors.• Techfilter compatible - an optional level of protection, provides a limited lifetime warranty against root intrusion.APPLICATIONS• Typically installed following a treatment process• Can be used with domestic septic tank effluent with proper design, filtration and operation• Reuse applications including municipally treated effluent designated for irrigation and other disinfected and non-disinfected water sources.SPECIFICATIONS• Dripper flow rates: 0.4, 0.6 or 0.9 GPH• Dripper spacings: 12”, 18” or 24” dripper spacings and blank tubing• Pressure compensation range: 7 to 58 psi (stainless steel clamps recommended above 50 psi)• Maximum recommended system pressure: 50 psi• Tubing diameter: 0.66” OD, 0.57” ID • Tubing color: Purple color indicates non-potable• Coil lengths: 500’ or 1,000’ (Blank tubing in 250’)• Recommended filtration: 120 mesh• Bending radius: 7”• UV resistant• Tubing material: Linear low-density polyethyleneAdditional spacing and pipe sizes available by special order. Refer to local regulations for information on flushing velocities that may be written into codes. 2. Netafim does not endorse a specific flushing velocity. 3. Flushing velocities should be determined based on regulations, quality of effluent, and type of flushing control. 4. Using a flushing velocity less than 1 fps does not provide turbulent flow as defined by Reynolds Number. 5. Higher flushing velocities provide more aggressive flushing. 0.4 GPH2012663163373580.67/40 0.6 GPH1712222622802961.02/61 0.9 GPH1401792102232351.53/92 0.4 GPH2753664374694970.44/26.67 0.6 GPH2353083653914130.68/41 0.9 GPH1942512953133311.02/61 0.4 GPH3374535435836190.34/20 0.6 GPH2893834554875170.51/31 0.9 GPH2413133693934150.77/46DRIPPER SPACINGMAXIMUM LENGTH OF A SINGLE LATERAL WITH 1.5 fps FLUSH VELOCITY12” 18” 24”DRIPPER FLOW RATE (GPH) 15 25 35 40 45 Flow per 100’ (GPM / GPH)INLET PRESSUREADDITIONAL FLOW OF 1.2 GPM REQUIRED PER LATERAL TO ACHIEVE 1.5 fpsLateral lengths are based on flows allowing for a 1.5 fps flushing/scouring velocity 0.4 GPH2483153673894090.67/40 0.6 GPH2052582993163321.02/61 0.9 GPH1632032342482601.53/92 0.4 GPH3444405135455740.44/26.67 0.6 GPH2853614194454680.68/41 0.9 GPH2282863313503671.02/61 0.4 GPH4275496436837210.34/20 0.6 GPH3554535275595890.51/31 0.9 GPH2853594174414630.77/46DRIPPER SPACINGMAXIMUM LENGTH OF A SINGLE LATERAL WITH 1.0 fps FLUSH VELOCITY12” 18” 24”DRIPPER FLOW RATE (GPH) 15 25 35 40 45 Flow per 100’ (GPM / GPH)INLET PRESSUREADDITIONAL FLOW OF 0.8 GPM REQUIRED PER LATERAL TO ACHIEVE 1.0 fpsLateral lengths are based on flows allowing for a 1 fps flushing/scouring velocity 0.4 GPH3013694214434640.67/40 0.6 GPH2422963373543711.02/61 0.9 GPH1882282602732851.53/92 0.4 GPH4225205956266560.44/26.67 0.6 GPH3414184765015240.68/41 0.9 GPH2653233683874041.02/61 0.4 GPH5316557497908290.34/20 0.6 GPH4295276036356650.51/31 0.9 GPH3354094674915130.77/46DRIPPER SPACINGMAXIMUM LENGTH OF A SINGLE LATERAL WITH 0.5 fps FLUSH VELOCITY12” 18” 24”DRIPPER FLOW RATE (GPH) 15 25 35 40 45 Flow per 100’ (GPM / GPH)INLET PRESSUREADDITIONAL FLOW OF 0.4 GPM REQUIRED PER LATERAL TO ACHIEVE 0.5 fpsLateral lengths are based on flows allowing for a 0.5 fps flushing/scouring velocityDRIPPERSPACINGFLOW PER 100 FEETGPM12"18”24”40.026.720.00.670.440.340.4 GPH DRIPPERGPH GPM61.0 41.031.01.020.680.510.6 GPH DRIPPERGPH GPM92.061.046.01.531.020.770.9 GPH DRIPPERGPHLarge inlet filtration area (bottom of dripper)Dripper’s Top ViewTop of dripper (turned over)Chemical-resistant molded silicon diaphragmTurboNet wideflow pathDripper Outlet(top of dripper)EXPLODED VIEW OF BIOLINE DRIPPERBottom View Top ViewPhysical barrier separates where water leaves the dripper from where it leaves the tubing.SPECIFYING INFORMATIONBLANK Tubing Model Number: 250’ = 08WRAM-250BiolineDripline = 08WRAMDRIPPERFLOW RATEDRIPPERSPACINGCOILLENGTH1 2 3A 1 32A0.4 GPH0.6 GPH0.9 GPH= .4= .6= 112”18”24”= 12= 18= 24500’1,000’= V500= VSAMPLE MODEL NUMBER08WRAM.6-24 VORDERING INFORMATION08WRAM.4-12V08WRAM.4-12V50008WRAM.4-18V08WRAM.4-18V50008WRAM.4-24V08WRAM.4-24V50008WRAM.6-12V08WRAM.6-12V50008WRAM.6-18V08WRAM.6-18V50008WRAM.6-24V08WRAM.6-24V50008WRAM1-12V08WRAM1-12V50008WRAM1-18V08WRAM1-18V50008WRAM1-24V08WRAM1-24V50008WRAM-2501,000'500' 1,000'500' 1,000'500'1,000'500'1,000'500'1,000'500'1,000'500'1,000'500'1,000'500'250'0.4 GPH0.4 GPH0.4 GPH0.6 GPH0.6 GPH0.6 GPH0.9 GPH0.9 GPH0.9 GPH12"18"24"12"18"24"12"18"24"Blank Tubing 17mmFLOWRATEDRIPPERSPACINGCOILLENGTHMODELNUMBERBIOLINE DRIPPER OPERATIONBioline® drippers are pressure compensating - delivering the water uniformly into the soil for further treatment or for reuse by the landscape. These unique drippers allow the tubing to be installed on flat topography or steep slopes.Bioline drippers are protected against microbial slime. Each dripper is impregnated with an antimicrobial agent to resist biological build-up.Netafim drippers are continuously self-cleaning during operation, not just at the beginning and end of a cycle.
