As part of any selective breeding program, the housing of mature broodstock is of primary importance. These artificial environments must best replicate a mature broodstock’s seabed surroundings and reduce any unnatural stress on the animals. Our state-of-the-art units are vertically stacked for maximum space e‑ciency and each system can be supplied with an additional separate marine Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) that we’ve designed with Tropical Marine Systems for fully controlled biosecurity. These systems can be fitted with an additional water heater/chiller for full climate control and paired with Tropical Marine Systems ground-breaking light/photoperiod manipulation system, this enables our users to extend the larval season by increasing or decreasing egg incubation times for better stock management.
