One single basic chassis for 5 types of tools, that’s really interesting. The improved modularity mainly means greater time savings. The new design of the JOSKIN CARGO allows you to change tools in a minimum number of sta- ges. This new concept lea-ves the pump, the linkage and the rear tool completely linked to the Vacu-CARGO tank. Placed at the front, this ram makes it pos-sible to have a larger lever arm and a greater tipping stability. The hydraulic tipping pump has also been placed at the front of the chassis. Your chassis can of course be retro-?tted with this option.Depending on the tool placed on the chassis, you can easily adapt the P.T.O.-shaft(s) to operate either the pump of your Vacu-CARGO tank, the tipping pump of your Trans-CARGO, the beaters of your Ferti-CARGO, or the shredding beaters of your Silo-CARGO.All the CARGO chassis are standard ?tted with an electro-hydraulic kit including 1 PVG entry block and 3 NG6 electrovalves. These electrovalves will serve in the case of the:• TSM: - for the Hydro-Tandem, - for the hydropneumatic hitching suspension, - for the hydraulic skid.• TRM: - for the front lifting axle, - for the hydropneumatic hitching suspension, - for the hydraulic skid.To these 3 basic electrovalves, can be added, in option, an extra elec-trohydraulic kit including 3 new functions:• 1 double-acting electrovalve including: - 2 quick couplings at the front of the chassis for the headboard of the silage box or the pump reverser of the tank, - 2 quick couplings at the back of the chassis to connect the trailer door.• 1 single-acting electrovalve including 1 quick coupling at the front of the chassis to connect either a hydraulic extension to the silage box, or the rear valve of the tank;• 1 single-acting electrovalve with 1 quick coupling at the front of the chassis to connect a second hydraulic extension to the silage box.The CARGO chassis is also standard ?tted with the following quick couplings: 1 pressure, 1 free return, 1 Load Sensing signal.Hitching / unhitchingthe basic toolsP.T.O.-shaft transmissionIntegrated telescopic ram and hydraulic pumpHydraulics and electrohydraulics- 5 --5-The CARGO TSM 6.6 chassis is standard ?tted with a free stee-ring axle with hydraulic locking. As far as the CARGO TRM 6.6 and TRM 7.5 chassis are con-cerned, they are standard ?tted with a double self steering sys-tem (front and rear axle). In this case, a hitching rod (with quick coupling and set-up unit) is di-rectly connected to the tractor and exerts a hydraulic presssure on the self steering cylinder that will direct the wheels. The self steering axle remains available in option for the TSM 6.6 chassis. All the CARGO chassis are standard ?tted with a drawbar with hydropneumatic suspen-sion. The combination of hy-draulic rams and a nitrogen ball when loaded (the 2nd being in option for the CARGO TSM and standard on the TRM) offers an unexpected smoothness. The use of this type of suspen-sion makes it easier to change the tools and, moreover, allows to modify the tank slope. To improve the carriage safety and the driving comfort, the 3rd hydraulic point (option) will transfer part of the load onto the tractor front wheels. As a result, the carriage is better balanced. All the running gears are stan-dard ?tted with the thermoplastic mudguards, both in double and triple axle. The double truck lights are stan-dard mounted on all chassis. They are integrated into galvani-zed lighting boxes. The 3 CARGO chas-sis are standard ?tted with the Hydro-Tandem (CARGO TSM) and Hydro-Tridem (CARGO TRM) hydraulic axle suspension. This type of running gear combines the advanta-ges of the axles that can easily be pulled over obstacles and the semi- independent axles offe-ring a large clearance. This suspension works in closed circuit according to the communicating vessels principle. Large section pipes are used to improve the reactivity of the system, which is a major advantage on uneven ground. Besides, the loads are always optimally distributed thanks to the 225 cm axle travel. The triple-axle JOSKIN vehicles have been ?tted with this type of running gear for many years.LightingWeight transferThermoplastic mudguardsSelf steering axle(s)HitchingFOR ITS MODULAR CHASSISHydro-Tandem & Hydro-Tridem- 6 --6-SPECIFICITIES VACU-CARGOThe new generation of Vacu-CARGO was crea-ted in such a way as to improve the modularity. Today, the pomp is no longer integrated into the drawbar and remains bound with the tank.It is ?xed on a side sup-port base. All the speci?c implements of the tank will thus remain linked to it.Still with the aim to improve the modularity, the rear linkage is now bolted to two but-tresses which are welded at the back of the tank. These buttresses then have a resting point on the chassis by means of the sup-port hooks.Consequently, the load strains from the rear implement can be evenly transferred to the whole vehicle. So, the rear implement remains ?xed to the tank and the tools can be changed in only one stage in- stead of two.In option, the Vacu- CARGO can be equipped with the Low-Lift linkage. This linkage, especially designed for the CARGO, is ?tted with four points and a quick coupling.CARGO TSMDouble axle 6.6CARGO TRMTriple axle 6.6CARGO TRMTriple axle 7.5VACU 16000VACU 18000VACU 20000VACU 16000VACU 18000VACU 20000VACU 22500VACU 24000VACU 21000VACU 23500VACU 26000Capacity (L) 16.450 18.237 20.429 16.450 18.237 20.429 22.547 24.753 21.150 23.531 25.970Ø tank (mm) 1800 1900 2000 1800 1900 2000 2100 2200 1900 2000 2100Pump bound with the tank Rear buttressesLow-Lift linkageThe pump reverser, like the rear valve, can be operated by the chassis electrovalves. The telesco-pic ram being part of the chas-sis, the initial sub-frame is no more used. The rear pivot point of the body is ?xed to the chassis by an an-choring in the support hooks and is locked by a set of Twist-Locks at the back of the chas-sis.The ram is simply anchored under the body by a system of anchors. The door opening occurs by direct connection to the tractor through electrovalves when the second kit of electrovalves is included (see electro-hydraulic of the chassis).Body Ram anchoringHydraulics• Tapered monocoque body• 4 mm ?oor in Hardox 450• 4 mm side sheets in HLE 550• Upper strip in HLE 550• 1-part hydraulic rear door with central grain chute• 4 front sight windows with perspex closing plates• Telescopic cylinder of 46.65 or 68 l• Extensions available• Tipping pump (Ph9: 85 l/min at 1,000 rpm) (option)• Hitching by 2 Twist LocksThe rear hooks again contribu-te to the support and transfer the tipping strains homogene-ously to the whole of the vehi-cle.The hydraulic hoses for the opening of the door arms are protected thanks to their posi-tion between the 2 body strin-gers.- 8 --8-The standard equipment of the Silo-CARGO is relatively similar to the one of a Silo-SPACE: i.e. the hydraulic headboard, the hydraulic rear door, the hydraulic moving ?oor, the integrated control of the moving ?oor and the rear door, and the 2-gear hydraulic motors. It is of course possible to equip your Silo-CARGO with shredding bea-ters. Their drive will then occur by a P.T.O.-shaft accross the sub-frame of the silage box.The hydraulic side extensions are also available in option.TypeBody dimensions (m)DIN volumeLength Width (F-R) HeightSilo-CARGO 20/40 7.95 2.35 - 2.40 2.10 40 m³Silo-CARGO 24/45 8.90 2.35 - 2.40 2.10 45 m³SPECIFICITIES SILO-CARGOThe chassis electrovalves can operate the headboard as well as the hydraulic extensions. The Ferti-CARGO, the big brother of the Ferti-SPACE, is available in 2 models: the 19 m³ and the 21 m³.Its body is made up of a ?oor in 4 mm steel as well as strong side boards in high tensile steel. The spreading box exists with 2 or 3 horizontal beaters with bolted teeth. Their drive also occurs by a P.T.O.-shaft accross the sub-frame of the silage box. The spreading system includes 2 discs with 6 blades each, allowing to reach greater spreading width (up to 24 m according to the spreading material).TypeBody dimensions (m)DIN volumeLength Width Height19 6.90 2.05 1.31 19 m³21 7.90 2.05 1.31 21 m³SPECIFICITIES FERTI-CARGO• Floor and side walls in 4 mm steel• Steel side racks• Protection of the upper body strip• Hydraulic shut-off door• Hydraulic moving ?oor (2 gears)• Milling system: 2 beaters with bolted Hardox teeth• Spreading system with 2 discs with 6 blades each• Hydraulic spreading canopy with PVC lining• Hitching by 4 Twist LocksGeneral pointsIts equipment, already especially complete, can also be ?tted with some very useful options such as the Pilot-Box (electrohydraulic con-trol of all spreading functions), the Unicontrol S spreading computer or the centralized lubri?cation for spreader body.Electrohydraulics- 10 --10-SPECIFICITIES CARGO-LIFTThe Cargo-LIFT hook presents another alternative of modularity. Through the Cargo-LIFT, JOSKIN proposes a quick change of the basic tools. This agricultural version of the hook system used on trucks meets the tendency of contractors to turn more and more to public works.Furthermore, some con- tractors already use trucks based on the hook container techni-que.In this case in point, it would be perfectly pos-sible to remove the tool from the truck and lay it down on the side of the road before loading it on the CARGO-LIFT to use it on the ?elds. Then, the tool can be set on the truck again so that it can be transferred quickly to the desti-nation, at the appropriate time according to the driver’s and vehicule’s schedule. This is what contractors really need, given the current working condi-tions. The CARGO-LIFT stands for an increased pro?tability of ma-chines and manpower. At the moment, JOSKIN proposes slurry tanks, as well as silage trailers, that are adaptable to the Cargo-LIFT system. As is the case for the traditional Cargo system, the Cargo-Lift chas-sis is ?tted with the Hydro-Tandem (Cargo-LIFT TSM) and the Hydro- Tridem (Cargo-LIFT TRM).This running gear system offers the same properties, already men-tioned, regarding the traction ease and the clearance over the ob-stacles.Running gearThe rear axle of the Cargo-LIFT TSM can, in option, be mounted as a free steering axle (with hydraulic locking above 15 km/h) or as a self steering axle in both driving directions. On the other hand, the Cargo-LIFT TRM is standard ?tted with 2 self steering axles (front and rear axle).Self steering axle(s)The drawbar of the Cargo-LIFT standard includes hydropneumatic suspension together with two nitrogen balls. This suspension allows to incline the chassis so that the manipulations to change the tools are made easier.Hitching• Tubular chassis shaped by the hook• Air brakes• Hydropneumatic drawbar (2 nitrogen balls for suspension)• Wide angle P.T.O.-shaft with shear bolt• Bolted ?xed eyelet• Thermoplastic mudguardsGeneral points- 11 --11-SPECIFICITIES CARGO-LIFTPossibilities according to the chassis 5.5 m 5.9 m 6.4 m 6.6 m 6.8 mContainerMinimum length 4.0 m 4.4 m 4.9 m 5.1 m 5.3 mMaximum length 6.2 m 6.6 m 7.1 m 7.3 m 7.5 mSlurry tank / / Vacu 16,000 - Vacu 18,000 - Vacu 20,000- Vacu 22,500 - Vacu 24,000The hooking system on the Cargo-LIFT includes a telescopic front arm with a travel of 1,450 mm on the 6.4 m, 6.6 m and 6.8 m chas-sis and a travel of 1,200 mm on the 5.5 m and 5.9 m chassis. The hydraulic cylinders that operate the hook movement are entirely integrated into the chassis; in this way, it is possible to keep relatively low loading heights. The lifting hook, built in non-defor-ming steel, has a height of 1,450 mm.The arm chassis is reinforced in special Domex 690 steel (thickness: 8 mm) on the whole length. The containers are hydraulically locked from the inside to the outside.Hooking systemYour Cargo-LIFT can be ?tted with several models of contai-ners and slurry tanks. All the details are available in the table below.Hydraulic systemThe system is fed by an independent Load Sensing hydraulic pump of 140 l/min at 300 bars.
