Orkel AS is situated in Fannrem. around 45 km southwest of Trondheim in central Norway, adjacent to the Orkla-river made famous for its excellent salmon fishing. The company is one of the biggest manufacturers of industrial machinery in Norway, and has earned critical acclaim and a reputation for high quality through experience and innovative design.

Orkel AS has come quite a long way from the humble origins of the countryside workshop of founder Johan Gjonnes established over 60 years ago. Today, the company has a considerable market presence, which is represented by a large international sales network in more than 40 countries.
