This type of formulation is obtained by using a very small amount of emulsifiers and no solvents. Moreover, the emulsifiers have been selected among those classified as “non dangerous”. CYPERBASE, therefore, secures insecticidal efficacy combined with reduced release of chemical substances in the environment, apart from the active ingredients and piperonyl butoxide. CYPERBASE, as a result, has an environmental impact and toxicity for people definitely lower than those of common ME and EC insecticides. Moreover, it is not irritating. A peculiarity of EW insecticides is that they must be shaken well before use. Areas of applications CYPERBASE is a combination of a knock-down pyrethroid and a long residual one, at a high concentration. Therefore the product is highly effective at low usage rates. CYPERBASE can be used for treatments: 1) indoors: - against cockroaches, ants etc., on which a double effect is obtained: flushing and residual - to control sudden infestation by fleas, bedbugs etc. Technical Data Sheet I.N.D.I.A. Nona Strada 55/57 35129 Padova Italia 2) outdoors: - to to reduce the population of insect pests moving through residential areas, tourist resorts etc. CYPERBASE is also approved for the control of flies on surfaces Usage rates and directions for use SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE Sphere of applicatin Usage rate Spraying volume Indoors: on surfaces against crawling insects (cockroaches, ants, fleas, spiders and ticks) Dilute in water from 1% to 2% (100 to 200 mls in 10 litres water) Apply 1 litre of emulsion every 10-15 sq.m by means of a low pressure pump Indoors: by means of ULV equipment in premises against flying insects (mosquitoes, flies, midges, moths) Dilute in water at 5% (500 mls in 10 litres water) With 1 litre of emulsion approx. 2500 cubic metres can be treated Outdoors on surfaces against crawling insects Dilute in water from 1% to 2% (100 to 200 mls in 10 litres water) Apply 1 litre of emulsion every 10 square metres Outdoors against flying insects (mosquitoes, midges etc.) Dilute in water at 0.5% (50 mls in 10 litres water) Apply evenly without dripping Active ingredients toxicity CYPERMETHRIN: LD50 oral acute rat 250-4150 mg/kg TETRAMETHRIN: LD50 oral acute rat >5000 mg/kg PIPERONYL BUTOXIDE: LD50 oral acute rat >7000 mg/kg Warning For the proper use of this product, follow the instructions given on the product label.
