The SCD are used for making canals in any type of ground, even in presence of rocks. The principal activities carried out with the SCD are: canalization for irrigation pipes, cables, drains, digging to plant vineyard, orchard and so on. It`s made up by a disk digger with interchangeable theeth (having widia point). The working speed in the ground (without rocks) it is about 300 m/h, in the rocky ground it must be from 40 to 100 m/h, so the tractor must be supplied with the VARIO gear box, or you must apply, to the tractor, an hydraulic plant which it will let forward hydrostaticly by means of a flow regulator leaving, the gear box in idle position.
