FARMATIC Agricultural Storage Tanks
INVENTIVE BY NATUREAGRICULTURAL STORAGE AND ACCESSORIESSLURRY TANKS AND STORAGE SOLUTIONSTANKCONSTRUCTIONFARMATIC storage systems are the optimal solution for storing, filling and the removal of slurry, manure and silage effluent water. FARMATIC tanks and silos have been in use for agricultural storage for well over 40 years.Over 3,000 storage systems worldwide have been installed by us, documenting the outstanding performance of FARMATIC’s products and the trust of our customers.FARMATIC storage tanks are made from bolted glass-coated steel. The secret to our success are the glass-coated steel (vitreous enamel) panels used for our tanks. They are extremely resistant to corrosion and abrasive materials, have statically superior properties, and offer an impressive cost effectiveness as a result. Thanks to the double enamel layer of the steel sheets, FARMATIC slurry tanks have twice the corrosion protection. The enamel coating has an adhesive strength of 3,450 N/cm².Standard tank colours are dark green and blue, custom colours upon request.• consulting, design, supply of documentation for building permits• drafting of the documentation materials for environmental permits• tank construction and technical and operational assistance• design and erection of the tank foundations • turnkey erection of tanks or provision of a supervisor of the works if construction work is done locally• wide range of available accessories- receiving and mixing equipment for manure storage- tank covers- leakage control• all FARMATIC tanks are designed and constructed in accordance with European building regulations:- the German federal and state laws- the German water protection act- all relevant DIN and EN ISO Norms- other common technical standards- specific local necessities such as earth quake zonesDue to their modular design FARMATIC tanks are the most economical choice. While offering the highest quality, FARMATIC tanks:• retain their value• last for decades• are virtually maintenance-free• can be expanded by additional rings• can be disassembled and moved• are erected in only a few days Our integrated solutionsOur service spectrumConvincing argumentsSLURRY AND STORAGE TANKSFARMATIC storage tanks with a volume of up to 20,000 m³ can be erected without the necessity for complicated scaffoldings or cranes. First, one ring segment is completed. Using a special jack-system, the entire first ring is lifted from the slab foundation and the second segment ring is built underneath. This way, the tank is erected from top to bottom and can be built in record time safely on the ground.FARMATIC tanks and digesters can be constructed quickly and anywhere. They can easily be disassembled, relocated, or expanded.Individual steel sheets of statically necessary thickness are cut and milled at the factory according to FARMATIC specifications. Steel sheets are cleaned and coated twice with the glass coating on both sides. Coa-ting thickness varies from 180 - 360 µm, according to necessity. The double coating is burned in an oven at 870° Celsius and glass and steel bond into the new composite material. Each steel sheet is tested for quality individually. The complete tank package is carefully prepared for delivery.1234Our double rows of screw connections en-sure optimal safety and stability of the tank.• special bolts made from galvanized steel with protective polyethylene plastic covers on the tank interior• permanently elastic sealant that is resis-tant against weather, chemical attack and UV radiationTHE KEY TO OUR SUCCESSPermanently elasticsealant Steel sheet 1Steel sheet 2Tank interior Tank exteriorSilo boltProtective coverPE-CoverSteel bolt connectionTank assemblyProduction processAPPLICATIONSFOR OUR TANK SYSTEMSSugar beet roots are a biogas input material that is very demanding on storage tanks. During ensilage in the storage tank, the beet pulp has a pH value of 3.2 – 3.7.FARMATIC’s highly resistant enamelled steel tanks are the op-timal solution for beet storage. Many successful biogas projects are equipped with FARMATIC tanks. Using our cost effective materials, FARMATIC builds not only typical flat digesters and post-digesters, but can also construct superior vertically stirred tall digesters with solid roofs.FARMATIC slurry tanks are offered in various individual sizes. They guarantee secure storage at low costs.Their longevity and easy expansion or disassembly are con-vincing arguments.Slurry storageBiogas plantsStorage of sugar beet pulpVOLUME CHARTHeight (m) 1.47 2.87 4.27 5.67 7.07 8.47Amount of ring segments 1 2 3 4 5 6 Volume in m³diameterØ (m)sheets/ringsurface area (m²) TYPE 5 10 15 20 25 308.54 m 10 pieces 57 28 84.2 164 245 325 405 4859.39 m 11 Pieces 69 31 102 199 296 393 490 58710.24 m 12 Pieces 82 34 121 236 352 467 582 69811.10 m 13 Pieces 97 36 142 278 413 549 684 82011.95 m 14 Pieces 112 39 165 322 479 636 793 95012.80 m 15 Pieces 129 42 189 369 549 730 910 109013.66 m 16 Pieces 147 45 215 421 626 831 1036 124114.51 m 17 Pieces 165 48 243 475 706 938 1169 140115.36 m 18 Pieces 185 50 272 532 791 1051 1310 156916.22 m 19 Pieces 207 53 304 593 882 1172 1461 175017.07 m 20 Pieces 229 56 336 657 977 1298 1618 193817.93 m 21 Pieces 252 59 371 725 1078 1432 1785 213918.78 m 22 Pieces 277 62 407 795 1183 1571 1958 234619.63 m 23 Pieces 303 64 445 869 1292 1716 2140 256320.49 m 24 Pieces 330 67 485 946 1408 1870 2331 279321.34 m 25 Pieces 358 70 526 1027 1527 2028 2529 302922.19 m 26 Pieces 387 73 568 1110 1651 2193 2734 327623.05 m 27 Pieces 417 76 613 1198 1782 2366 2950 353423.90 m 28 Pieces 449 78 659 1288 1916 2544 3172 380024.75 m 29 Pieces 481 81 707 1381 2054 2728 3401 407525.61 m 30 Pieces 515 84 757 1478 2200 2921 3642 436326.46 m 31 Pieces 550 87 808 1578 2348 3118 3888 465827.31 m 32 Pieces 586 90 861 1681 2501 3321 4141 496228.17 m 33 Pieces 623 92 916 1789 2661 3534 4406 527929.02 m 34 Pieces 661 95 972 1898 2824 3750 4676 560229.87 m 35 Pieces 701 98 1030 2011 2992 3973 4954 593530.73 m 36 Pieces 742 101 1090 2129 3167 4205 5244 628231.58 m 37 Pieces 783 104 1151 2248 3345 4441 5538 663432.44 m 38 Pieces 827 106 1215 2372 3529 4686 5843 700133.30 m 39 Pieces 871 109 1278 2496 3716 4934 6152 7373Tank sizes up to 70 m diameter and 20 m height are available upon requestType labels: Diameter/height e.g. Type 56/20 corresponds to Ø = 17.07 m / H = 5.67 mTANK ACCESSORIESOdour-proof tank coversDouble membrane gas holders Loading and unloadingTank coversWith a stainless steel centre column for tank diameters up to 34 m.The textile cover consists of a polyester fab-ric, coated with PVC on both sides. The fabric cover is attached to the tank wall by a circular tube and is tightened by stain-less steel ratchet spanners.Double membrane roof with integrated biogas storage With a stainless steel centre support column for tank diameters up to 36 m.
