HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF T.A.M.E. S.A.S.A.1956 - T.A.M.E. S.A. is founded in Athens – Greece for the study, engineering and installation of Flour Millsand Storage Silos. The company’ s territory extends to Cyprus and many parts of the Middle East ( Egypt,Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Yemen, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates ) with a significantpresence and major activities.1963 - The company expands its activities in the processing of oilseeds, mainly cottonseeds.1964 - Installation of the first pelleting plant in Larissa – Greece.3HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF T.A.M.E. S.A.S.A.1968 - Refining of vegetable oils is added as a further activity.1970 - T.A.M.E. undertook the building of the first Soyabean Solvent Extraction plant in Greece.1972 - Development of the storage facilities sector for difficult flowing commodities such as bran, soyameal, tapioca e.t.c.1980 - T.A.M.E. S.A. is up-graded to a Company limited by shares and doubled its personnel.1982 - The study and construction of fishmeal, meatmeal, feathermeal plants and in general processing plants by-products enters into the activities of the company. 1983 - The first unit of automatic production of yeast for bakeries is inaugurated in Fthiotis – Greece. 1985 - The first unit for the treatment of sunflowerseed by solvent extraction is put – up in Alexandropolis- Greece.1986 - Drying of alfalfa and sugarbeat pulp is added as a further activity. Simultaneously T.A.M.E contributes in the development of cotton ginning factories and have since engineered and installed 40 ginning units for mechanically cropped cotton.1988 - Design and installation of the first multigrain fully automatic flat warehouse in Greece.4HISTORICAL OVERVIEW OF T.A.M.E. S.A.S.A.1992 - Design and installation of the first Maize Grits plant in Greece.1997 - Study engineering and construction of fish and shrimp feed factories. Seawater fish & shrimp farming is becoming of major importance in the Mediterranean.The handling, storage and know how of feed ingredients for aquatic feed (flour mill and corn mill by products, fish oil, fishmeal, high and low protein soyameal, lecithin, etc) are within the fields of expertise of T.A.M.E. It is a natural consequence for the company to get involved in the production of aquatic feed.1998 - A major turnkey contract for an Aquatic Feed Mill is awarded to T.A.M.E.
