Foundation of the engineering office for the construction of new calf feeding machines.

1977

Start of own production of Ad Libitum automatic drinkers for calves and lambs. After a short time, Förster technology established itself among many other manufacturers in Germany.

1990-1995

Market launch of the stand alone feeder with the first integrated processor control for calf feeders. 1995 Förster-Technik expands its product range with automatic feeding and drinking machines for piglets.

1999-2004

Förster-Technik receives numerous awards from the German Agricultural Society and the German Agricultural Publishers.

2004

With the Vario calf feeder, the company heralds a new era in automatic calf feeder technology.

2005

Generation change: Markus and Thomas Förster take over the management from their parents Martin and Hildegard Förster.

2008

Förster-Technik presents the new parallel drinker system SynchroFeed and the Multilyser for the determination of milk progesterone.

2011

40th company anniversary

The 40FIT technology and the world’s first CalfRail will be presented at EuroTier 2012.

Presentation of the ColostroFIT colostrum management system at EuroTier 2014

Introduction of the new COMPACT & VARIO smart automatic feeder generation – Internet compatible as standard

2016

The “Smart Calf System” health management system is awarded a gold medal at EuroTier 2016

2018

The new product “smart thermometer” is awarded with the Innovation Award EuroTier 2018 in silver.
