The fully hydraulic measuring wheel produces the most reliable measurements. The open structure offers easy access to maintenance points.The proportionally controlled feeding wheels and delimbing knives process trees smoothly and minimise feeding damage.The TH Harvester Heads are light in weight but yet powerful. 6LOGSET TH45 – productivity for energy wood harvesting and thinningThe Logset TH45 is built to achieve optimum results from thinning operations. TH45 is compact and lightweight, enabling smooth and quick movements even in dense forests. The head is designed to handle small to middle-sized trees. It is equipped with two hydraulic feeding wheels and a free rolling support wheel to reduce friction and improve feeding. The hydraulics has been optimised to work also with a smaller harvester. The hydraulic supply to the motors is optimised with a flow divider. Equal pressure and flow will avoid single wheel spinning even in rough branched conditions. The integrated hydraulic hoses are well protected behind the hydraulic motors and close to the hydraulic valve block. The robust feeding system ensures powerful and efficient feeding. The diameter measurement’s reliability is guaranteed by two sensors on the main knives. A fully hydraulic length measuring wheel delivers extremely precise result. The optimal productivity is achieved with diameters up to 45 cm. The head is well matched with the LOGSET 8H GT Harvester. The TH65 has all the power, yet without large weight, which makes it perfect for longer cranes with wider reach. Even so, the TH75 has a relatively short frame and weighs in at only 1300 kg. Therefore, it is a perfect match to LOGSET 8H GT and 10H GT. The minimum stem-to-frame contact reduces friction, ensuring low fuel consumption and long lifetime for the components. The TH75 is a complete package of solutions for heavy trunks. The fixed rear knife increases the delimbing quality. To help obtain maximum results, Logset offers alternative feeding motor sizes and spikes for feeding wheels. LOGSET TH75X for excavatorsThe strong construction of the TH75X suits track-based machines particularly well.
