Our flexibility HAWE has developed a single welding plant for the manu- facture of frames and chassis on which all model series and types can be produced. This means highest flexibility: assembly following arrival of the order – without prefabri- cation and intermediate stor- age. The single and tandem axle trailers are based on the same design principle as the universal spreaders, the main difference lying in the spreader system with its four vertical rotors. Spreading width is six meters; the aggressive action of the shredders makes an outstanding job of breaking up the material. Downtime is minimized through hard-facing of the tines. The use of high quality components guar- antees long working life. The spreading system with two horizontal rotors, spread- ing rate regulating gate and broadcasting discs is DLG tested and enables accurate spreading of different materi- als over a maximum 24 meters. Good oversight A clear view of the work is critical for safe and straight- forward operation. For best oversight back to the spread- ing system the trailer front wall and mesh safety barrier feature transparent grills. The operator can therefore see immediately when the sprea- der is empty. Trailer attachment point Customers can choose between upper and lower attachment points with also different types of attachment available. On top of this, the usual attach- ment systems for export mar- kets such as Piton Fix, etc., are offered. This choice enables contract- ors to simply order whatever attachment system is already used in the fleet. Soil protective HAWE spreaders are character- ised by their low draught requirement and low operating power demands.
