The 1700 is also available in a special ridge-till configuration which places cup knives between the rows, and side slicers over the row. 235 Hp rated Superior™ gearboxes are standard on all machines. All units have a standard overrunning clutch to protect shredder and tractor.Category 5 plus constant velocity (C.V.) p.t.o.’s are standard on all trailing units. This eliminates driveline knocking and the need to disengage P.T.O. on short turns.
