He invented a light binder which could be pulled by a horse and which was therefore suitable for small farms and smallholdings. This is due to the unique smooth and low JF cutter bar which ensures clean stubble and gives the crop an even flow through the machine, and the optimized ground adapta-tion because the GXS-machines have central suspension. This ensures that the already low ground pressure is distri-buted evenly over the whole width of the cutting unit. This spares the fields and protects the plant “crown” to ensure quick regrowth. Besides, the GXS mowers have a number of other features, e.g. Easy Lift, which guarantee both working quality and comfort.Perfectly smooth cutter bar Originally, the smooth JF cutter bar was developed for JF’s larger mowers and triple mower combinations with working widths of up to 12 metres. Now the smooth JF cut-ter bar has been introduced on all mowers from JF - irrespective of the working width.The smooth bottom of the cutter bar protects the plant “crown” to ensure quick regrowth.Furthermore, the JF cutter bar design allows the setting of a low cutting angle. Thereby it is possible to obtain low and even stubble. At the same time the crop flow is optimised and the result is a light and airy swath.On the JF cutter bar stoneguard and guide shoes are integrated in the whole width of the cutter bar. This is achieved through optimal manoeuvrabi-lity and turning abilities. The mowers are equipped with a swivel gearbox which allows quick turning and thus maximum use of working hours.The high working speed demands high safety and one of the essential charac-teristics is the efficient safety system Top safe. The Top Safe system safeguards the machine against both vibrations and large irregularities in the field. It is thus possible to work at high speed without reducing the quality or damaging the machine. The GMT L /Flex mowers can be fitted with the equipment ”Collector” for double swathing. The handle folds down a deflector behind the conditioner. The grass is thereby in contact with the conditioner for a longer time when it is spread and therefore it dries extra quickly.Front mowers SMF and GXF are strong, front mounted disc mowers with excellent ground following abilities. The position of the disc allows the crop to be placed perfectly between the tractor wheels. The machines can be used in front/rear combinations.Top Service It is possible to check and replace a gear wheel or bearing at each disc in the cutter bar – without special tools. This ensures quick replacement of gear wheels without opening the entire gearbox. This means less time in the workshop. Headstock The cutting unit is drawn across the field by means of a headstock made of strong profile tubes. In case of collision with a protruding obstacle the cutting unit moves back an upwards. The shock from the collision is absorbed when the machine moves back and upwards. In this way possible damage is minimised and the obstacle is unlikely to stop the machine.Easy and quick access to the SMF cutter bar.Top Service.Headstock.The cutter bar tips back and forth so that is remains parallel to the ground.12°Perfect ground contour following with Contour Float The GXF front mower is equipped with Contour Float, which gives the mower exceptionally good ground following abilities which ensure a good working quality and perfect stubble, even under difficult ground conditions. The machines are characterized by quick and easy operation.High capacity rotary tedders The rotary tedders are designed with movable joints and therefore always adapt to the conditions of the ground. Besides, the rotary tedders are equip-ped with asymmetric tines which are parallel to the ground. These characteri-stics ensure clean raking.The 2-rotor rakes are available as side-delivery rakes and centre swath rakes.Unique ground adaptation and variable working widthThe side-delivery rakes R+ 1410/1410 S/1410 SB are designed on a Multi Link frame. This means easy access to all functions and you do not need extra control boxes if the machi-nes are fitted with options.Upper Cut system All trailed forage harvesters from JF are equipped with the Upper Cut system which ensures low energy consumption.The Upper Cut system throws the crop directly into the chute. It does not have to go through the rotor housing first, which reduces the power consumption.The new FCT machines have been developed and designed with particular focus on strength, unique performance and user-friendliness under even the most demanding conditions. The best features of the previous models have been combined with a number of new functions.A new chopping rotor increases the capacity of the well-known Upper Cut system without the need of a larger tractor. Furthermore, the new pick-up roller crop press will help to increase the output by improving the flow through the feed intake area.With the new electro-hydraulic control it is also possible to control the newly designed foldable chute.(Standard on FCT 1360/1460 - option on FCT 1060). This means that blockages in the feed-intake section are minimised and a long and powerful throw of the crop from the chute is obtained.Foldable chute means high loa-ding height and low transport height JF’s high capacity forage harvester can now be fitted with a foldable chute.This gives a perfect combination of high loading height and low transport height (below 4.0 m). With a hydraulic cylinder the chute can be folded for transport so that it rests on the drawbar. The transport height is thereby reduced to less than 4.0 m so that the chute will not potentially hit overhead obstructions e.g. trees, elec-tric wires etc.The equipment is supplied together with a chute extension and chute support which means that the overall loading height is increased to about 4.7 m.The leading manufacturer of complete diet mixers in Northern EuropeJF is the biggest and also the leading supplier of complete diet mixers in Northern Europe. The major part of the production is exported all over the world. As there are many different mar-kets, JF has built up a large and wide product range of vertical auger mixers.This means that JF today offers com-plete diet mixers with capacities for 35-350 dairy cows, available with cross conveyor or discharge doors. Further-more, JF offers a wide range of optional equipment.Mixing and feeding according to the TMR principle (Total Mixed Ration) is gai-ning ground, also for smaller herds. Therefore JF now offers a range of Feeders which are narrow and extraor-dinarily low for farmers with these needs. The low height is also an advantage when loading with e.g. a skid steer loader.JF offers a full range of complete diet mixers.JF’s vertical augersJF use high strength steel JF is the first producer of complete diet mixers who has taken the step and introduced high strength steel S500/650 in the production of diet mixers. The use of high strength steel is especially important in connection with the auger windings and the first 50 cm of the tub walls, which are the parts that are expo-sed to the hardest wear.Great flexibility – also after you have purchased The JF Feeder is constructed by means of a modular system which enables you to choose exactly the solution that suits your needs. If your needs change after you have purchased a JF Feeder, due to a new barn, more livestock etc. the mixer can subsequently be modified.Wireless weighing system is standard Feed Manager is a wireless weighing system which consists of a main terminal and a hand terminal which receives weight information from the Feeder wirelessly.
