The machine consists of two large diameter rake wheels each fitted with 16 fully floating spring steel tines. This unique rowing action gently moves and inverts the grass into a light, airy, even windrow centrally behind the tractor.Some unique benefits of the Rotonde 510 are:• The working width is adjusted by one double acting ram to give an infinite adjustment of working width from approximately 3.85 m to 5.10 m. This adjustment can be made on the move, a particularly important feature on sloping fields or where the crop varies in density.• The windrow cages when fitted can be adjusted from approximately 75 cm to 150 cm to suit varying crop conditions and the following machine.• The pre-set windrow cage width remains constant even if the overall working width is changed.• Castor wheels can be simply adjusted for height and enable the Rotonde 510 to be used in all crop conditions.• Curtains on the rake wheels assist gentle and even crop flow into the swath.Reduced wilting The main benefit of the Rotonde is that it moves the swath top to bottom. In this way, the damp grass from underneath is gently moved to the top of the windrow to increase wilting efficiency.The 16 spring steel tines in conjunction with the low centrifugal action ensure a gentle handling of the crop to give a clean, light, airy even windrow of uniform density. The tines are fully floating and have plenty of room to pivot away from obstructions.
