THE LP-80 IS DESIGNED for ease ofuse—helping you to minimize setup timeand begin measuring as soon aspossible. It only has 4 menus: PAR/LAIsampling, unattended logging, f ileaccess, and setup, and its intuitive 6-keyinter face allows you to navigate insidethese menus with up and down arrowkeys, and move from menu to menu withone button push.INSTANT REAL-TIME PAR/LAI SAMPLINGAs soon as you turn the LP-80 on, you'remeasuring PAR in the PAR samplingmode. Real-time PAR values aredisplayed on screen, and can be storedwith the press of a button. Simply takeone PAR reading above the canopy andone below it, and an LAI calculation isdisplayed. With each subsequentmeasurement, this value is updated anddisplayed on the screen.UNATTENDED LOGGINGThe unattended PAR sampling modelets you program the instrument to makeand store measurements at intervalsfrom once a minute to once an hour.FREE EXTERNAL PAR SENSORThe LP-80 is shipped to you with anexternal PAR sensor.
